The past 8 years have been a retrogressive and dangerous journey. The economy is crawling. A very wealthy igbo man was lamenting why he had to his daughters igba nkwu from anambra to lagos and how his hometowns economy would have benefitted.

grin grin Am not surprised at all because I have always distrusted IPOB and their so called agitation.They are a very hateful, bitter and vindictive group of beings, spreading lies,hatred,propaganda and bitterness around, fueling hatred in foolish and gullible Igbos towards other tribes, most especially Northern tribes.

To be sincere, they miscalculated. They thought they could intimidate everyone to accept their failed tactics. They wanted to use Biafra to cajoled the entire nation to accept them. Viewed with suspicion by who? People whose population has been largely successful and are not part of the 133 million people in poverty and rising??

People who can do without the Igbos but want no part in letting them be since 1967??

People who hold the fate of the average Igbo man in their palms??

You need to be able to discern and focus on the things that actually matter. Suspicion counts for shit if it ain't making the average Igbo man's life better.

IPOB was fueled by FG under Buhari. There was no need to arrest Kanu or kill his insignificant supporters instead the FG should have deployed superior propaganda by employing brilliant Igbos in a counter propaganda radio Station. IPOB was nothing but a one room radio station where Kanu called himself director.

After the first mistake and Kalu was released the then PDP opposition used him as a figure to control Southeast and the APC in power saw it as advantage to block the 2023 Igbo Presidency hence it's continued existence. Most of IPOB radio broadcast was against Okorocha because he was believed to be a frontliner in the Igbo Presidency so they crafted a lie and sold in Southeast that he was a Northerner disguising as Igbo and should therefore be resisted by Igbos. If Kanu broadcasted 2 hours he dedicated more than 30 minutes on "Okoroawusa" alone. The aim of it all was this 2023 election but things went sore during ENDSARS protest that led to IPOB becoming violent and no longer useful but rather a threat to the politicians .

The present insecurity in Southeast is multidimensional because the use of the term "Unknown Gunmen" created a new umbrella body for criminal gangs to operate and make it difficult for security agents to pinpoint the actual culprits. Politicians now burn their opponents properties or even harm them under the guise of unknown gunmen, people now get rid of their enemies using unknown gunmen as cover and for this reason everybody is a potential victim since criminals are now unknown.

What has happened has already happened and to me the best thing is anything that will bring back peaceful atmosphere in the Southeast and politicians who played one role or the other be removed from office to allow neutral people handle reconciliation process.
