i can relate too…..that year…my father newly joined politics and his first election….he lost it…
Mehnn it was not easy that period even though we were still kids but we felt it in a way…Mumcy too broke because they invested a lot in the campaign..

Look at us that use to host extended families during Xmas and Easter….like our house go full but Dad could only afford fish then😂….until one of my uncles gave us a live turkey later in the day…ThankGod for life sha.

Many people will kill themselves in this life because of trends and peer pressure sha. Birthdays can be celebrated by simply singing praises, praying to God, or declaring positive things into the life of your daughter. You don't have to buy cake at all, whether or not you can afford it.

It was end of d year party when I was in primary school n my parents were broke cos state government dey owe d two of them money steady that year.

The eve of the party like this na do my father enter room for carry kolo ( mud safe) comot for under bed

When he broke it like this ehn, see joy as I see money scatter everywhere….I can’t forget how I picked those money with joy n how I pack the clay go put an for dustbin
