Good day, fellas. Most Nigerian parents focus more on their children's education but ignore their children's moral behavior. E.g Greetings, respect, good manners etc. I'm really disappointed in some children these days.

Nobody vex me ooo. I just noticed that kids of this century have lost it. Although, I don't blame them, I blame the parents. Awful things we couldn't do as kids in our time are what nowadays kids are doing and it's really astonishing.

Why is it normal? Are dispectful kids or kids that lacks home training regarded as normal? undecided

Sadly, when these children become wayward in the future, the parents will start looking for whom to put the blame on. Only time will tell. cool

Culture difference

In igbo land, you don't give an elder something with a left hand
But where I live
I saw a boy of about 20 using left hand to pass food to a man of 80 years.

I tried to correct him but they said it doesn't mean anything.

That year in the late 90's
Students of UNN will us message, you born you to say no

Them go beat you in front of your parents

You don't give what you don't have.
I have seen badly behaved parents, what do you expect children to learn from them.
Check out some comments on this platform as a case study.

They are basically trying to sound woke you know. I see a lot of rude and uncultured children nowadays and one wonders where the hell are their parents.

Teenage folks who can't even greet. Very disrespectful and saucy

In this era of wokeness, good traditional African beliefs of respect for elders, courtesy and the likes have been sacrifice on the altar of "open eye"

It's up to parents to ensure that kids do better

It's surprising now to see kids greet elders who they walk past on the street. Something that was like a taboo when we were growing up
