Establishments of policy has never been a problem of the government.

We were promised transparent technology driven elections but we all saw how that turned out.

So while on paper this looks laudable, we would like to wait and see the mode of implementation to see how this government's initiative will be implemented. Will this initiative provide soft loans for vehicle users and transporters who seek to convert their vehicles? Will there be financial and technical support for interested entrepreneurs who wish to establish conversion workshops? Will government itself be involved in creating conversion centres or will the support be in terms of policy incentives alone or will all these be implemented and more? Will corruption and politics contaminate this initiative like the fuel subsidy removal?

Time will tell.... The devil is in the details. Let's wait for the specifics of this initiative and the timelines for implementation.
