If you are Muslim, Christian or a traditional worshippers. You should respect other people's religions no matter how much you disagree with their beliefs. Avoid doing things that provoke other people religion e.g insulting a holy person from a different religion. let everyone worship his or her God/gods in peace.
Do not burn or tear any book considered Holy to other religions e
Do not insult any religion or honored figures and this goes for all religion whether you are Christian, Muslim or Traditional
Do not force your religion on other through threats and violence. You can agree to disagree. Not everyone will convert to your religion so respect their beliefs
Respect atheists and those who do not want to believe in God or gods

Exactly, they should also refrain from labeling other faiths as idolatrous, pagan, or satanic worshippers, remember most religions are traditional.

But somehow, preaching to others is also part of some religions' business. So no, it would be impossible to keep quiet.

But then yes, names shouldn't be called and threats shouldn't be made... I think the atheists are mostly the name callers... (Fornication and similar words are just normal English, why get offended if someone calls you what you are?)... But atheists are the ones who come straight up with unreasonable names... FOOL, IDIOT etc etc... 😂

Christians tend to threaten, sometimes, it's after you've called them names so that's their way of saying goodbye 😏

Preaching or talking about your religion is not the same as forcing your religion. There is a huge difference, if someone talk about their God/ gods to you and you do not want to hear about it. You can leave him or her alone or tell them that you do not want to hear. If the person respect your wishes , that is honorable.
Now if the person is being loud after you told them or rude or calling you the name or threatening you to convert then they are forcing you or harassing you. This is disrepectful

Leaving people alone is not the issue but accepting the fact that everyone is free to hold onto whatever religion or thought they feel is right.
For instance if someone says:
"there is no God"
It's not my business to start insulting, cursing or accusing him simply because i believe in a book where it's written that God exist.
And if someone says:
"God is a stone"
I shouldn't start criticizing him simply because it's written in the book i carry that stone can't be God.
My duty as an intellectual is to look for ways to find a neutral ground on which my neighbour and i can cohabit peacefully, as for God whether He/She/It exists or nor that's left to the God but i must make peace with my fellow human whom i can see before thinking about any God that i can't see.
That's how real intellectuals thinks!

About 370,000 Nigerians are operating the way i stated but what effect can that little number make in the midst of almost 250,000,000?
I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses our activities is to make peace with everyone in our society by telling them what we think about God and knowing what they think then we can either agree to worship the same God joyfully or each person worship his own peacefully without insulting or cursing his neighbour for having a different opinion about God.
The major purpose of our preaching and teaching is to discuss with people around us how we can all cohabit peacefully and leave the rest to God so that He will judge between the evil and the good people!
