Two days later. He noticed a green line at the extreme left side of the screen when he pressed a bit on the bottom left corner of the phone.

Anyone else experiencing this or any suggestions?

Mind you i changed the battery recently. Could it be that the battery was fake? Till now it has refused to come on.

I bought the phone last year second hand from a store and I noticed it refused to accessing google after getting home, I was to travel the next day to another state so I didn't bother going back to the store because I read on here you can flash your redmi with another firmware to update it.
I just upgraded to MIUI 12.5 now from 12.0.7 and I switch on the phone, only to see request for MI account password.
I have the receipt of the store I bought it from, please if anyone can help me on this issue.

Like I said here not quite long, lots of second hand and fairly used phones sold in Nigeria are stolen phones. Lot more are faulty phones the owner wants to do away with the stress. Very few are from genuine owners who wants to upgrade.

Or in also some cases people forget to logout there mi account before selling,
I am sure he never did a factory reset since he got it

Before you buy any used phone factory reset it,
In the case of mi,it helps you determine mi account status and Google lock frp.
For apple,help determine lock/network status

Guys please I need original redmi 10 C battery.
My phone has been overheating and battery is dropping rapidly. It started yesterday after I connected my phone to one wall socket (my extension got burnt). I got a new one today and recharged my phone but the overheating and dropping continues.

Why has my redmi 12c refused to install update? I got a notification that there's an update but when I click on it, it would just show downloading and stay there. today, I said let me try it again and it started downloading and stopped at 15%. I went to check my data and the main one was 1.7gb while the bonus was 4gb, I tried again and it says there isn't enough space, so I deleted my movies including the ones I'm yet to see and even borrowed additional 2gb cause I feel the bonus was for YouTube, it got to 24% and stopped again. Now, not only I'm owing MTN but my movies are gone yet the purpose wasn't achieved. What could be the problem??
