So I advertised a car on Jiji during the weekend then I got a call shortly after from a number which true caller had flagged as Cars Buyers informing me that they are calling from Jiji and they are interested in the car and would like to book an appointment to bring the car to their facility for inspection.

Note: This call came in even when the advert was still being reviewed by Jiji and not yet published. Shortly after the call, I got an email from donotreply@ asking me to confirm the inspection schedule at Car 45.

This is the 3rd time I'm selling a car on Jiji but this is the first time I'm receiving this kind of communication from them. Though my previous sales on the Jiji platform were years back hence I'm not sure if they just introduced such to their operations.

Has anyone here done this kind of transaction with JijI before? Is it a safe and reliable model cos we all know as Naija be now o. Make person no go enter one chance

Would appreciate head up from anyone who has firsthand experience with JijI on this sales model.

You probably selected the option to get an inspection.
So jiji inspects then if you pass the certification, it gets that inspected tag on your ad.
