Old people everywhere... grin

Kudos naptu2. Your threads are always wonderful.

Surprisingly, I was watching Trybesmen Plenty Things today on YouTube. Came across it and couldn't help but laugh..

Here's a link to the funny video. We loved the songs and videos back then but it all seems strange and funny now. Be like they were operating on 2D then... smh

What of Charles B?
He started Sharing Life's issues at Rhythm FM, then moved to Inspiration FM 92.1fm and I think came back to Rhythm.
I think πŸ€” Wana took over from him Charles B, before Rufai Oseni took over from Wana Ugbam ( She later went ahead to do a program with Airtel but didn't last long, I think she later relocated back to the West)

Tosyn Bucknor? I don't know. I just know she used to be hyper on her morning shows, nicknamed the "Area Mama".

But Stranger (Chris Ehindero) was my favourite in the late 2000's. I used to listen to his night shows as a teenager, and he was also on air the night Michael Jackson died. He called and interviewed Peter of PSQuare that same night too by 2:00AM.

Flood of nostalgia coming in now.

Thank you naptu for doing this. I was always hooked on to Raypower and most especially Eko FM as Ibadan hard no private radio station then except one useless government radio station. Oluyole FM.

Kenny Ogungbe and his friend Dayo Adeneye were a delight to listen to on Raypower before they fell out with the late Raymond Dokpesi

Always had a running battle with my elder sister because I don monopolize the family radio permanently on Eko FM. Used to alternate between EKO FM, Raypower and OGBC She would say "We dey live for Ibadan, you dey listen to Lagos Radio". grin

But now,Ibadan has almost 50radio stations if I am right, and the state with the most radio station after Lagos.

P S. Femi Sowoolu has a radio station in Ibadan named "Jamz FM" you can check it out
