Thanks so much for your advice.

I really appreciate.

I didn't intend lying about it though. Just wanted to know if I should be silent about it unless the interviewer brings it up.

If you’re on F2, and intend converting to F1, I think you’d still have to come back to Nigeria for an interview (I stand to be corrected). I don’t think there’s a reason to lie about your wife’s F1 status, she probably filled in your details on her Ds 160 when she was applying for F1. You’d have to come up with very strong home ties.

So you would like to know 2 things?
-1: Universities offering MS in Nursing
2: If those same universities, offering MS… do accept MPower or Prodigy loans?
Yes. Thanks

Good morning everyone,
I am a recent graduate with a 4.3/5.0. I'm currently in the process of looking for a suitable school to pursue my MSc program, ideally with funding. My late father's younger brother, who has been living in the United States for over 10 years with his family, has been a strong source of support throughout my undergraduate studies. I'm wondering if selecting a school located in the state where he resides could potentially enhance the likelihood of my U.S. student visa application being approved. While I anticipate some funding from the school I intend to apply to, I intend to mainly rely on my own modest savings to cover some of the expenses, with the possibility of some assistance from my uncle. I would greatly appreciate any advice regarding this, thanks

No 2: too many schools are accepting Mpower loan per… but you have to contact your schools of interest to confirm

Good you’re asking pertinent questions on time. If you’re going to use him as your financier, you are clearly showing that you have strong US tie and less Naija hometies.. you could get denied. You should know how to make a case for strong hometies

Please Faith, how did you get a date.

Please can you call me 09058408220

I have a situation.

My interview was Monday 21st August, I got to the Interview and was informed that my sevis had expired, I honestly wasn't aware.
The Agent failed to inform me and truly I have been on getting an interview date since 2021.
Getting to the biometrics session, I was told to pay the fees and go search for another interview date.
Now, I want to take out the Agent, can someone please advised me how to pay this?
after payment what do i do next? Do i need to inform the school or the school is not involved in the SEVIS PROCESS? I ask because I wasn't a part of the first SEVIS fees payment process.

The Lady that was to take my biometrics mentioned that there might be dates in September, even though my class resumes tomorrow.
Will i need to defer my resumption till next semester?
I just need help on how to navigate this path, as a lot have gone into the entire process.

I will be happy to h

Thanks for your advice.

I would be forthright with the information.

I was asking because some people say that having relatives in the USA sorts of reduce one's chances of approval.

That's why I thought I should be silent with it unless they specifically ask.

Go and fix your problem. We tolded you and kept tolding you to avoid agents…. Use agent if you’re applying for B1/B2… not for F1!
Take ownership of your journey. If you didnt know about ur Sevis expiration .. how did you do your application??
Keep using 3rd party info merchants, why cant you task yourself to find out things from primary sources like your school and US Embassy site?

Hello guys
Can I apply for a PhD in pharmaceutical science just after completing my BSc in Pharmacy, and without doing my MSc?
Do schools accept this skip? And do VOs frown at such skips?
What do you guys think pls

Check North Dakota State University. There is a Nigerian in their PhD Pharmaceutical Science who is a Nairalander (not sure he is still active).

Good afternoon, My wife is an F1 student in the US she curently pregnant. The state shes in says that they have a charity organisation that help pregnant F1 students pay their martneity bill. she aksed them if it's medicaid they said no that the charity is just for a year.
My question is ?
1, I hope this will not affect me when i apply for an F2 visa.
2, Will it be in her records that she gave birth in the US using a charity organisation, though she asked them this particular question and they said they don't send any information to immgration
3, Can i apply for an F1 visa instead of an f2 so i wont have any trace that i''m related to her incase its a probelm that she deliverd with the help of a charity Organisation.
4, She stated she was married in her DS160 form with my name as her husband.
5, Will they find out if i apply for an F1 and state in my DS160 that i dont know anyone in the US.

Please i need help cause i need to be around when she gives birth so i can take care of the baby while she continues her studies.

Why is her insurance not paying for the bills? You can use the charity organization to pay your own copay. I do not think any government bothers about that.

He can apply for a change of status to F1 and use the premium processing. He just need to gather his documents and articulate his thoughts well enough to convince the Visa Officer why the change of status should be approved.
