Iyi Enu Mission Hospital in Ikenga Ogidi, Anambra State is the oldest mission hospital in Igbo land. It was founded in 1907 by the Church Missionary Society (ndi CMS). Iyi Enu was the first hospital in Nigeria to graduate midwives.

Is that not the same hospital initiated and built by the highly revered Yorubaman and clergy, Archbishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther who brought civilisation and christianity to Igboland.
That man introduced the western way of writing to Igboland and went on to translate the English bible to Igbo language.

There should be a Samuel Ajayi Crowther Day in the whole of Igboland if you are really appreciative of the love and service this great Yorubaman and Clergy gave the Igbo.

Sincerely, I hope that one day, a generation of Igbo ,not full of hate, lies and bigotry, will give him his right place in the top top pinnacle of Igbo history and how the Igbo recieved christianity, western education and civilisation thanks to a Yoruba man and clergy, Archbishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther
