A colleague who has applied since March 2022, despite having visited Canada twice, the UK, the US, and Schengen countries, is still waiting for a decision.

When he submitted his application, he had on his passport 10-year UK, one-year Schengen, 3-month Irish, and US visas, and he included evidence of these visas and travel history in his application, but he is still waiting for decision after one year.

But his brother-in-law with Kenya as only travel history applied in February of this year, and he got a passport request letter this past July.

It wont affect your application as long as you declare the refusal in your application . It also depends on the severity of the reason for refusal. It wont be an issue if it is just for normal inadmissibility concerns like proof of funds, home ties etc and you are able to proof in your Canada application that your situation has changed and improved.

I think if you were not asked if you were denied us visa before you are good to go,beside you have already visited the US before,I remember when I was filling my application they request for a proof of my current US visa which I provided,you have a rich travelling experience you can go ahead and apply

1. He needs to print out consent form (it's 4 pages)
2. Print Visa application letter (1 page)
3. He will also submit that yellow slim long paper given when he went for biometrics
4. Then with your passport
5. Book appointment day online and print the appointment date and pls don't come late. Be there at vfs 30mins or 1 hour before the time

Put all these 5 things all in an envelope and take it to vfs, that's all you need too submit ... Pls don't be late if not they won't allow u to enter to submit it unless they will charge u like 10k 15k to allow u in. Unless u are willing to go and come back another day to submit it and u will need to book another appointment day online

U can apply for visit visa, u don't need huge amount to do that, even ordinary 2k CAD is enough
