Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 9:21pm On Aug 24, 2023 |
shigo20:Get your materials and start studying on your own. In NOUN we don't have classes but we have facilitation which is like an online class. Note that, joining the online facilitation is not compulsory and not all courses are facilitated. Study, study and study the materials. 1 Like |

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 7:32am On Aug 25, 2023 |
shigo20:Notifications are often in your student email. Your email is YourmatriculationNumber@ noun. edu.ng The website used for the facilitation is elearn.nouedu2.net Default login details is your matriculation number in lowercase as your password, username is your matriculation number in lowercase. Note also that this website is where you will be doing your TMAs (Continuous Assessment) when they begin. So, when you change your password after initial login, take note and be conscious of what you are doing. |

Good afternoon here, I just got a conditional offer for Msc Information Technology program on the 25th of this month. Do I have to start registration now since they are currently in 2nd semester already? Or can I wait till beginning of next session to register? |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 7:51pm On Aug 27, 2023 |
KingDavidJnrr:They run all semesters concurrently. You are in your first semester and some will be in their second semester. Proceed with registration |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by KingDavidJnrr: 12:49am On Aug 28, 2023 |
Enskynelson: Thanks Boss. I'm not sure if my school will send my transcripts on time. OOU can be very unfortunate when it comes to that. Will that delay my registration? Or I can just forge ahead with the registration regardless? I actually prefer to start with the coming 2023/2024 session. How that's cool too? |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 9:19am On Aug 28, 2023 |
KingDavidJnrr:Apply for the transcripts and take the evidence of application eg Remita payment receipt to the Study Centre. That's enough. You also need to upload your credentials online before going to the Study Centre for verification/issuance of matriculation number. |

Good morning everyone, according to he school calendar, Matric is on 13th of September. If I'm unable to attend the matriculation as a new Msc student, what is the repercussion? Thanks |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 10:00am On Aug 28, 2023 |
Modupeprecious:Nothing. The most important thing is that you try to sign your matriculation oath afterwards. Try and as much as possible to be follow the orientation though cos that is quite important unless you have enough orientation already. |

Hello! Welcome again to another exciting semester at the National Open University of Nigeria. This message is meant to intimate you with a vital update on eLearn. For the new students, eLearn is the Learning Management System of the school. It is where the teaching and learning process will take place. You will take TMAs and attend facilitation sessions there. New to Online facilitation? You should watch this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_A7Ep3mBmmk?si=t-P-oqyw-FS0FozX) for more on Online facilitation at the National Open University of Nigeria. In summary, the idea of online facilitation is to give you the access to meet with the lecturers facilitating your course in real time via the Zoom videoconferencing application. You get to ask questions on grey areas on the course and any other concept you want them to address. You can access the timetable for the semester via the link below. https://mylearningspace.nouedu2.net/info/facilitation-timetable That said, what is the vital update on eLearn? The web address for eLearn has changed! If you recall, the web address for eLearn used to be https://elearn.nouedu2.net but now, it is https://elearn.nou.edu.ng Every other information regarding taking your TMAs remain the same, so the previous guides on navigating eLearn are still valid, but please take note of the change of web address. Welcome once again to the National Open University of Nigeria. https://youtube.com/watch?v=mZxIP9FAdns&si=_ZDNlKw0wbnHvpkY HOW TO JOIN ONLINE CLASS |
