Pls Can someone who is 100% sure help out? there has been contradicting advice here on transit visa for 1 stop at Amsterdam.
Is there need for a transit visa?
If yes. Must it be Transit from only Netherlands embassy or he can use french consolate ( because France transit visa application and booking is straightforward. Unlike the Netherlands. I am yet to find a helpful guideline on how to book for appointment or apply )

The transit visa you get is a Schengen transit visa which is applicable in all Schengen countries. However, it cannot be used to enter the country you are transiting through.

The work start date is fine.

UPDATE!

Visa Decision Made today, Application status now showing transferred to VAC and 2 DHL emails for passport delivery received for partner and child. No BRP email yet maybe that should drop soon.

Too bad. Which ‘real’ employer asks for pre employment something something payment and you have no COS nothing? Ok continueeee very well. This is one of the reasons scams are not ending. Too sad.

if you did self upload then you do not need to ‘re-carry’ the documents to TLS as you have already self uploaded them.

when you include the number on your skilled worker form (COS section), it will tell you it's not valid if it's not from thier record.

He was not scammed ooo...i remember when he brought the issue here and we all told him not to pay...but for some reason the guy decided to risk it after making some findings only he could explain...

Apparently, very few exceptions of these cases are not scams...i have seen a few too...... i dont advice pple to pay because u wont know which one is scam and which is not...

....but what i have come to notice now is that some of these small residential care homes that want to hire oversea applicants are codedly avoiding the cost involved by masking it with other names like legal fees, admin fees, or other names....

Someone was also told to pay 1238£ tagged legal fees or something i cant say accurately .....at first he ddnt pay...but he decided to risk it and later found out when he resumed it was the cost of ISC for 3 years and cost of COS the company used in sponsoring him which is 346£ ×3 plus 200£...

Any skilled worker visa did biometric 16 August that has be granted visa...

Everyone I met at the centre has already gotten thier thou it's not skilled worker

I did biometric on August 16th as well. Only update so far was empty nsf mail for child dependent.
