Throwback:

You can't wait for A Yoruba Muslim Soldier to rule Nigeria for 20yrs?

This is why Tinubu like Buhari, like Yar'Adua, like Obasanjo, all selected the military leaders they are comfortable with regardless of those who were wailing.

As a President, never be sentimental in your choice of persons to hold military leadership roles and other heads of sensitive military formations.
You think coup detat works like that.

Stay off and be gone, please.... Except you can show anywhere in my comment that mentioned any name or tribe. Otherwise, be gone... Rest!

Gabonese are now ipob? slowpoke truely have access to CP and internet . I know for that you're from tge generation of fools ,but will try as much as possible to see if help can come your way.

The first true attribute of democracy is the ability to elect leaders of our choice, but no, they rig elections, unleash thugs on people they perceive not as their supporters, beat up electorates, snatch ballot boxes even with the help of security agents, write results and announce it. And expect you to accept that as democracy , and tell you it is better than military government. If this is what they call democracy, sane African societies are telling them they will rather accept military government.

If the judiciary does not restore confidence , I am afraid for Nigeria, the whole world may soon read same story on headlines of various media outlets just like Mali, Guinea, Niger, and now Gabon , even though we do not wish for such

I think it's about time Tinubu reverses deregulation and Dollar policy cause that's the main reason most Nigerians want immediate saviour in any form. Nigeria is actually sitting on a time bomb because of the recent increase in poverty and all it will take to trigger a revolution is a little stimulation. FG should please reverse the policies. I supported the subsidy removal and I can afford everything but most Nigerians are suffering.

Pls I have a question to ask.

Why is that it's always the head of presidential guard that normally carry out coup?

Most of coups that have taken place in Africa in the past was spare headed by Head of presidential guard.

What happened to all senior majors ahead of them in ranking?

Please, am asking just for educational reason.
They are the ones protecting the seat of power, so any bloodless coup must involved them, if it doesn't, then it might turn to a bloody coup, as they will fight against such

The people are happy but some useless and unfortunate leaders of regional blocks like ECOWAS and AU will kick against this coup.

The people of the black race have awoken, just like the Arab Spring of almost a decade ago. More military takeover is expected... The last ignoble, infamous election in Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ that witnessed a 'coup de democracy' gave the impetus and rise for all these military takeover.

Many other countries and even Nigerians are watching the Tribunal, and the verdict could finally nail the coffin ⚰ of democracy in Africa.

Say no to military government.

I do not like military coups but more people have died under this so called democracy than under the military regime! See how Buhari weaponised fulani herdsmen in a bid to take ancestral homelands on non fulani tribes!

No ooo, things should remain as it is biko, if it's reversed and dollar and price of fuel fall, most commodity won't fall, by the time it's partially or fully introduced again, things will also go up, and you won't understand the logic behind the new increment.
Fuel was 180, transport was 200, fuel is now 600, transport 300, if fuel goes back to 180 or 200, transport go still remain 300, if something should now happen and increase from 180 to 280, transport fare go increase again from the 300.

Coup is not visible in Nigeria no amount of incitements that can make the top army to stage the coup.

The army here themselves are corrupt, the only thing that can happen at most is the constitutional amendment to suit the new system of government probably De-centralization or Confederalism.

PDP, APC, LP are the same set of people same agenda under the platform of different political party

What happened to CONFAB agreements at the national conference when PDP Jonathan was in power?

When APC Buhari got to power no review on CONFAB agreements

In fact, no parties put CONFAB agreements in their manifesto

All political parties were present to signed the agreement , why can't they include it their manifesto?

All politicians are benefiting from the wrong direction of the nation especially politicians from the top 10 parties in Nigeria.

Just few of them mean well for the Masses The 90% of them believe in kleptocracy

May God heals our people our nation and our continent

A continent with a lot of resources but still living in the 80s…..while the west and our leaders are feeding fat on our resources

The west in the 60s is far better than Africa today

Hmmm
Gabon.
Coup is something that can never work in Nigeria due to our diversities.
It will be vehemently opposed by other regions/religion and turned to tribal/religious war.
