Ex senator Shehu Sani wrote; Poisoned elections death of democracy in Africa!

From East to West down to central Africa, what you have is strong local men, in fierce grip of their fiefdoms. These elements upon closer looks reeks of corruption, low self esteem and more.

Strong men don't make good leaders, they're simply afraid of releasing power and institutions to others, because they know who they are. More so, they're afraid we'd see them "as is"; mostly very corrupt & clannish!

One notable quote from the military junta that took power a day ago in Gabon was that it's the season of coups!
What he should have said was it's the season of rigging elections, leading the military to intervene.

From Nigeria to Gabon, down to Niger etc, it's about a selfish, greedy man who covet power because power allures! They're there not to build strong, self running institutions, rather to adorn themselves with the allures of powers. Shame.
Take our own Nigeria for example, the 2023 Presidential election is widely believed to have been rigged for a corrupt, old US sanctioned drug mule. Not only did the usurper lost in Lagos, he also lost in other morally important places; Osun & Abuja.

Gabon, Zimbabwe etc the story is the same. It took an extra ordinary courage for the election umpire in Kenya to stand his ground and make the votes count. Today Kenya is more credible than Nigeria in almost everything despite Nigeria been more richer, larger and strategic than Nigeria. Take for instance. The Kenyan passport is more better rated than that of Nigeria. PayPal works efficiently there as well. The same can't be said of Nigeria.

Creepypasta elections!
Out here in Nigeria, the story was different. Professor Mahmud Yakubu INEC chairman did the unthinkable; allowing a rigged election to stand even though the results was out there for all to see! It took considerable collaboration of El Rufai, Gandollar, Tinubu & other shady fellows to thwart what would have been one of the best elections so far.

Now, by the COAS own admission, requests are coming to boot out the current occupant of Aso Rock. I'm afraid if this were to come, it won't be from senior ranks but from the Col & lower rank men.

Should anything happen to our Democracy, blame the greed of a dying, old, corrupt and vile US sanctioned drug mule; Asiwaju!

During the first republic, it was the same elements from the South West in their infamous "Operation wetin" that throw the south west into chaos, thereby giving the military elements led by hot head Delta Igbos to thwart the young democracy.

Fast forward to 2023 elections, one nefarious element, bereft of campaign ideas resorted to a shout of "Emi lo kan" mildly interpreted as "It's my turn". I have never heard or seen where elections in a democracy is conducted in a turn by turn way!

Not done, when it became obvious that the justices would boot him out, he resorted to threatening the justices of chaos should he be sent packing. Same format used by the South West in 1960s to foster the wild wild west of yesteryears.

Hold Tinubu responsible should the military intervene.

I think Bola Tinubu is doing a great job in safeguarding our democracy and if anything happens to it, we should hold him accountable.

Gun robber, pen robber all thieves! Asiwaju is a pen robber!

A civilian coupist who small military boys in Niger called his bluff, and typical of all thieves who know themselves well, he has eaten his threat! What a shame that a great nation like Nigeria can not wipe small dependent nation like Niger into line!

All because of a greedy election rigger!

Mr. Bongo was busy muscling the nation, shutting down the internet and feeling like a Lord over Gabon. He slept and woke up to see how overrated he has been!

Imagine the nigga asking non existent friends to make noise, real noise. That because he's not aware that the people are jubilant that a bad rubbish has been tossed out by brave men!

Go and watch CNN if you have electric power or bouyant enough to afford paid Cable TV so you see how international anchors puts it, "The people are jubilant!". They're so shocked that people embrace military as against civilian rule.

Why won't they celebrate? When dead brain leaders force themselves on everyone!
