Spy360: If that is what you got then that’s you. All we are saying is, HOLD YOUR CRIMINAL LEADERS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE ROT AFRICA IS ENDURING. Stop blaming the West at your convenience for the mess in Africa. FOR ONCE! Let us hold ourselves and own our failures as a continent. Being Pan African doesn’t translate into blaming the West for every little thing! If anything, it means taking ownership of your failures and finding ways to address them locally. 2 Likes 1 Share |

@Ibime Let’s not forget to remind them that 40 out of 54 African countries print their currencies in Europe, including countries that were not colonized by the French. Remind them that even some European countries like Denmark print their currency outside of Denmark because it is cheaper. Remind them that France pays incredible amounts of interests for helping them defend their currency from inflation and for keeping it. Most importantly, remind them that they have leaders who need to be held to the highest standard! 3 Likes 3 Shares |

.....if you have a Leader doing well like Kagame, allow him to keep power as long as he can. But, if your Leader is like Biya, do everything humanly possible to oust him from Office. |

So because republic of niger don't have the technology 2 develop her uranium, then France can do whatever they want with it. mine it, take it 2 Paris while giving nigeriens peanut. What a slave mentality! This is why the West suspended Uganda 4rm World Bank. The president of Uganda did not allow the West 2 steal the Uranium in UGanda why living her people in darkness. 1 Like |

Spy360:Africans have the bulk of the blame as far as the poor state of things on the continent are concerned. Only Africans can really change the conditions of the continent. You can't keep blaming the West every time. As of now, Africa is still under Europe and Arabia as slaves, and the region will remain so for a long time. Most Africans worship the God of the whites and Arabs, speak their language as the primary means of communication, prefer to name their kids using European or Arabic names, consider their ancestors as demonic while worshipping the ancestors of Europeans and Arabs. The continent can't develop with this kind of slave mentality. The continent as a whole is still in slavery. It takes a lot of intelligence and will to build a functional and prosperous society, and most Africans just don't have the required mental capacity. It's just the plain truth. Blame your fellow Africans, not the West. Development starts from the head, from having the right mindset, not a slave mentality. It starts from reforming the local cultures and traditions using philosophy, science, and critical thinking. Most modern Africans don't have the mental capacity for these. Without a healthy number of Africans embracing philosophy, science, and critical thinking in place of religion, especially Christianity and Islam, and getting rid of their ancient norms and cultural practices prevalent in African societies, Africa won't develop and grow. Most of you people here blaming the West for Africa's woes are either Christians or Muslims. You're blaming the West without looking inward. The more those two religions grow and develop on this continent, the faster Africa as a continent becomes worse. Only highly intelligent Africans understand this simple fact. Africans should take responsibility for their action or inaction and stop blaming the West. 1 Like 1 Share |

OasisX: This is parliamentary democracy. They don't elect Presidents. They only elect their local Members of Parliament and the party with the most seats then send their party leader to serve as Prime Minister/Chancellor. The Members of Parliament can also unseat the Prime Minister/Chancellor. So there are no term limits because the people do not elect a leader, they only elect their local member of parliament Leaders in Parliamentary systems can last 20 years or 2 weeks. UK, Israel, Japan, Italy, Germany all practice various forms of parliamentary system, and they all have leaders that can last a long time (Thatcher) or few weeks (Liz Truzz). Same way Italy, Japan and Israel have long serving guys (Berlusconi, Shinzo Abe, Netanyahu) and guys that may last few weeks, while the German guys are usually long standing. It's actually more democratic than Presidential system and my favourite form of democracy. If your local MP dey fúck up, you can actually go to his weekly surgery and hold him by the balls 1 Like |

Ibime: ....I know bro. The point I am trying to make is; an individual spending years in power ain't peculiar to Africa alone. In addition, I prefer parliamentarian system too. |

OasisX: No. There are no term limits for German Chancellor. This one is elected by German parliament. This one is the head of government. This one cannot sign law or declare war. Germany has president. There's term limits for this one. This one is the head of states. I don't even know what your position is at this point. Are you for hanging on to power for a very long time in the guise of western democracy just like in Rwanda( changing constitution to suit his agenda) ? Where do you belong.? 1 Like |

Roland17: Your point is noted and appreciated. But we are not just fighting our corrupt leaders. That's the simple part. We are also fighting those who use them. It's not just the dog it's also its master. The people of Niger have dealt with a corrupt leader but they now have to fight his master. Niger ousted their corrupt leader but then Kamala Harris calls Tinubu (in disguise as ECOWAS) and asks him to invade Niger to restore the corruption (in disguise as restoring democracy). Niger has asked the French diplomatic missions to leave, why are they foot-dragging like it's their fatherland? |

OasisX:These are not practicing democracy. Like what Mone.. said, do what's constitutional. If the constitution allows for life tenure no problem as long as the poeple are OK with it. As for Africa right now, based on where we are as a developing continent, no leader should last more than two tenures. |

Roland17: I can just imagine the collosal cost involved. It would cost billions if not tens of billions to maintain a rigid peg to the Euro Nigeria and Ghana which are not CFA nations have seen their currencies lose over 75% over the pass 10 years while the CFA has maintained the same rate for close to 30 years (next year makes it 30). The currency is definitely overvalued. 1 Like |

raumdeuter:Brother, isn't Niger trying to pull out? Why is France asking Nigeria to invade them? On one hand you ask them to leave then ignore the other hand holding them down. Don't worry, these countries are already pushing to leave FrancAfrique |

Roland17: The concept of money is still not clear to many. Money needs to have value, what gives money value? By pegging it to an internationally recognized and acceptable exchange like Gold, Dollar Euros etc The CFA countries have the option to print their own currency without French backup and see how it fares Zimbabwe tried it and we saw what became of the currency when Everyone denied it. If any useless African leader don attach anti west sentiments, he is already a winner. Shebi Idi Amin sef say he dey fight foreigners and expelled all of them from Uganda. What happened to the economy afterwards |
