I have personally carried bike accident victims in abuja to the hospital. The bike man took one way on a major express and was hit . A lady lost a toe and another one had fractured skull . I wish the government had destroyed that bike before the accident happened . We just like being sentimental about this .

did you read the part were they have been banned since 2006 but keep returning there? When you travel to Johannesburg or Capetown, you'd admire it. But people no wan hear word here, especially those hausas. That's their business, they were told to operate in the suburbs, but they kept flouting the order. It is one way to try and stop them from entering restricted areas . Note that there are places they are allowed to operate so it’s not like there are no alternatives to being a lawful bike man . Providing alternative jobs is another way . But until thosejobs are available , we cannot allow breaking of laws .
