That cheap sef of now, northerners will be complaining. In Pankshin, back in 2017, I used to buy 10sizeable pieces of beef for 200naira and will use it to cook stew and soup after cutting it again to make it 20pieces.

I'll like to think so too. Those dry fishes, are not so expensive from there. I recently went to an area in PH, Gambia area where northerners are and saw lots and lots of it. But with how it is prepared, the environment, I was shocked that this is the condition those fishes are kept before we buy them.

Have been to biggest dry fish market in maiduguri and its very neat. Just that if one is not careful, one may buy dry snake, frog, toad monkey etc as dry fish or meat
Mangala, okpo, etc are from there.
