I respectfully disagree for several reasons:
The liberalisation of the FX market should mean FX should now be more available but at higher amount.

2. The Fund would have published the list so it'll be known that they aren't at fault. They would have at least begun other processes such as induction and visa processing

3. They can be issued a waiver as this scholarship is part of their mandate and not just a CSR

4. They can give awardees the naira equivalent to source for FX themselves after maybe paying the fees - I don't know how they do it.

Finally, I just think there's something wrong or perhaps the awardees have been notified and we didn't make it.

The "Fund" in PTDF is money in dollars not naira. So forex can never be PTDF's problem. The delay is most likely as a result of approval not yet gotten from the new ministers, they are now two (not one anymore). They're probably still trying to settle down and I believe scholarship list from PTDF will be one of the last things on their agenda at the moment.

FX crisis too may not mean unavailability of funds but the inability to access FX. I believe this liberalisation of FX may have fixed that.

They cannot conclude allready. The issue of forex etc only come in place after the list has been released and can cause delays in booking of flight/ payment of stipends etc. The delay before the list is been released is due to administrative issue, power tustle, change in administration bureaucracy wahala etc. The list will definitely come out one day

The FG does not even directly fund PTDF. PTDF is majorly funded by something called "signature bonus", it's the money paid by licensees when they're first allocated oil blocs before they can start anything on the bloc. This money is in dollars and is paid to NUPRC (formerly DPR) and they transfer the percentage that the law says should be given to PTDF to PTDF's account. So there's nothing like FG doesn't have money to give PTDF or there's no forex, PTDF doesn't collect budgetary allocations from FG and the money that funds PTDF is already in dollars.

Are you talking of "Admission Letter" or "Admission Letter Upload"?

Well, for the former, it had been there at the point of changing our Interview Venue. I saved my application and it is still the same as what was saved then.

Making conclusive assumptions based on some faulty hypotheses never validate your position on this. Until PTDF says anything, we should not assume for them.
