If she fails to recognize Tinubu in public as her President, that should not come as surprise at all. Those familiar with Nigerian culture will agree that if she was Yoruba and head of WTO she will in fact kneel to greet an Hausa or Ibo Presiding over Nigeria. Similarly if she was Hausa and head of WTO, she will be humble and greet a Yoruba or Ibo with full respect. The only tribe in Nigeria that continue in defiance to demonstrate good culture and civility is Ibo. We all know this, and we know she is Ibo. So why does her action surprise? Why do we expect a different response from her. Has becoming head of WTO removed the ibo in her?

Only Ngozi has released these pictures. It was a drama set to show who she is not with, rather than who she is with. She made a statement of saying I do not recognize Tinubu, look who I am with. Very petty, but again, quite in line with what would be expected understanding her Ibo roots.


Whether Tinubu endorse her term renewal or not is up to him. But we know Tinubu is also a very strategic politician. He can defend himself if he felt it an insult in the way she failed to acknowledge him....which by the way is not the first time.
