Another Passport Request Letter has been issued. She is presently in UK.
Can she mail the passport to the Canadian Embassy in UK or Mail it to Nigeria?

Please I did my biometrics at Abuja in April and it was through the old portal through which my agent applied for me but till date when I enquired what’s the status from him, he said it’s still processing that’s what it’s showing. He called me this morning and said that if nothing happens by this month that my next month he will cancel the application and apply for me through the new portal. Please I need your advice should it be cancelled or I should still exercise patience cos from what he said that applications through the new portal the processing period is faster. Don’t know how true this is. Thanks.

It is importance to also incorcate the habit of been patient when you apply for visas. It will help alot

That processing time they put there does not work. Just exercise Patience. They will definitely process ur application and get back to u.

Yes oh , it's God all the way. I didn't even get to do my biometrics early . It was actually approved 11 days after biometrics .
Someone said they dont start processing until after biometrics, I don't know how true that is .

A friend of mine got this in the portal since May 11. Applied thru an agent she paid sometimes in 2021. They didn’t give her her portal info. I was able to get into the portal and saw she’s been approved since April and May 11 document requested and no one informed her. I just saw it and I’m exited but caCan she still get the visa?

After We emailed the emails provided on this platform appealing that a passport request letter is reissued so she can submit her passport. Thanks be to God, they have emailed her and reissued a PRL.

She is presently is London UK. Should she mail it to the Canadian embassy UK or Mail it to Nigeria?

It's not , Canada,US and Uk don't require a travel insurance.
It is usually the schengen states that do .

Presenting proof of funds that is not yours but that of a distant uncle or family friend already weakens your home ties because it would tell the visa officer you are not well established back home which reduces your probability of return back to your home country. For a mature adult, it increases your chances if you come up with some cash of your own even if you would have supporting sponsorship from a relative. if your sponsor is resident in Canada, a copy of their last payslip and a letter of support or sponsorship could suffice but don't forget to work on your home ties so the officer does not score you low in that category..
