phoinix: Statutorily, a company can distribute the positive balance of it's Retained Earnings to it's shareholders as it wishes. Most don't for strategic or regulatory reasons. What they (GT+Zenith) are sharing is not from the "excess gains" but from their Retained Earnings. BTW, GTB clearly noted it as unrealized gain. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Shalom428:Honestly, that's what I was about to say too... What is happening in market is artificial and may not last for long...... CBN's circular does not in any way referred to problems in the banking sector.......but a caution which they've not been wise to handle properly Just my opinion......... For newbies rushing into the stock market now... I'll advise you to keep your cash until when there's a major correction in the market so that you can buy as many stocks as possible for dividends purposes... This is an advise not a recommendation Cash is king 1 Like |

When this type of panic mode is activated, I sometimes used GTCO as a gauge of what the market is saying........lol. Don't mind me...... Maybe because the stock has some Bad.oo investors , or because it calls the shot for the likes of Zenith and others to follow...... As at now, there's quite some bids in GT and no aggressive dumping again.......so far o 7 Likes 1 Share |

Labdi69: Oando is still undervalued. Check the price of it's contemporaries like Conoil which is selling around N90-100 even though it is more downstream than upstream Don't be surprised to see Oando clock N50 very soon The only thing that looks confusing about Oando is the buy out offer of N7. 07 because of the Court case. The Court has cleverly given shareholders the power to either reject or accept the offer and it adjourned the case from March to October2023 i.e. . a whole 6 months for the shareholders to consider all factors and take a decision. That buy out offer is now dead on arrival. If you are patient to make good profit, go buy Oando before it rises further. I saw the opportunity more than 2 years ago and started loading it and now I have millions of units! 4 Likes |

yMcy56:A brief Technical Analysis of GTCO IF GTCO closes 35.25 today, -then, a daily support is breached -stock price may "falsely" attempt to rally up (many will think it is going up!) - optional -Market maker likely to drop the price again -IF stock is strong, "Level 1" will hold price and price start another rally up -Failure of Level 1 will cause price to dip lower to test Level 2" Summary: a close below 35.25 signalled further dip in stock price of GTCO. 3 Likes
