A brief Technical Analysis of GTCO
IF GTCO closes 35.25 today,
-then, a daily support is breached
-stock price may "falsely" attempt to rally up (many will think it is going up!) - optional
-Market maker likely to drop the price again
-IF stock is strong, "Level 1" will hold price and price start another rally up
-Failure of Level 1 will cause price to dip lower to test Level 2"

Summary: a close below 35.25 signalled further dip in stock price of GTCO.
grin grin grin grin grin

Nice one..
If we back out revaluation gain
from PBT for Zemith and GTCO..
Wetin go remain... grin cheesy

₦40 is my WACC now

Please go by your gut instinct and not by what the naysayers are saying. Same way I was discouraged when some folks learnt that I had accumulated over one million units of OANDO at BEP of 6.80 and talked me out of the "mistake". Sold all my OANDO at 7 naira, and see where it is now, and the potential momentum it's gathering. So please, go with your gut instincts irrespective of naysayers

Oando is still undervalued. Check the price of it's contemporaries like Conoil which is selling around N90-100 even though it is more downstream than upstream
Don't be surprised to see Oando clock N50 very soon
The only thing that looks confusing about Oando is the buy out offer of N7. 07 because of the Court case. The Court has cleverly given shareholders the power to either reject or accept the offer and it adjourned the case from March to October2023 i.e. . a whole 6 months for the shareholders to consider all factors and take a decision.
That buy out offer is now dead on arrival. If you are patient to make good profit, go buy Oando before it rises further.
I saw the opportunity more than 2 years ago and started loading it and now I have millions of units!
Conoil is not Oando's contemporary. Oando is not in the downstream business any more, NNPC has bought all that from them. Conoil upstream section is not on Nse. Just the fuel distribution section tgat is on Nse.
Oando is in the upstream sector with Seplat(on NSE)
But OS is one thing to consider before estimating the price.

*Someone or an entity is busy offloading at N52, bargainers also picking up @52........ What's up Sugar?
A brief Technical Analysis on DangSugar
-Buyers located in "Levels 1 & 2"
-Current Price hovering at Level 1
-Failure for level 1 to hold stock price will cause price to dip further
-Some minor buyers located btw 44 - 48
-In case price dip further down, next focus is: 32 - 38 (Not sure price will get here with the stock bullish sentiment)

Summary: DangSugar support level is below 32.20! However, before this level Chart indicate levels where big institutions previously keyed into the stock.

Lol. Boss, people's funds are staked here.....
Allow us to hope in peace...... grin

On a serious note, the merger is still ongoing, any update on it, as well as clue on favourable post-listing price can make a significant change.....with the chart making a U-turn.... smiley

Hopefully, it won't take so long again.

My post are always +ve and trying to help people to see where to possibly buy a stock. The levels I mentioned are possible buying prices.

I have a stake in GTCO also and if possible would love it if price continue to rise. Just trying to interprete the data as it (without emotions!). If price closed above 35.25, I'm happy for it!

I didn't understand any rationale behind stock sell off in September, when we should be building momentum for end of the year and new year rally. That was the reason I remain unmoved..

The problem is not jumping out but deciding on what price to jump back in. For me, I'm not jumping out any time soon, except I have emergency need for cash.

All you said still points to the fact that Oando is under valued presently.

Conoil is the closest comparable to Oando, apart from Oando selling its downstream to NNPC and having larger outstanding shares. Those are 2 of the biggest indigenous oil companies owned by Nigerians currently listed on NSE
Even before Oando sold it's downstream business to NNPC it's shares were selling for N3-N5 while Conoil was going for N40-N50.
If Conoil is currently selling at N90-N100, then you can expect Oando to rise especially when they start paying consistent good dividends like Conoil has been doing.
My advice is: take a position in Oando with money you can stake for a year or two and reap good returns .
But make sure you attend the Court -ordered AGM and help destroy and kill the buy out offer of N7. 07
