I'm not sure they were stealing the rice. I think it's the palliative that is being distributed cuz that's how the people that are in charge of the distribution ordered people to take the rice while their vehicle is on the move. Mind you, I base in Ibadan.

I am in Ibadan and the situation is that since last week government buses are transporting palliatives around the state and people are demanding for their own since there's no reasonable method of distribution. Some people don't trust politicians on this palliatives issue, therefore they believe they have to take it by force. They're saying it's not politicians' money but our collective wealth. So it's not as if it's hunger that's making them to loot per se but anger that they see politicians as wanting to pocket or divert the palliatives like that of Covid19. They see it as forcefully taking their portions. It's been happening since last week at various places. Remember you just came back from COMA because Tinubu overcame all your evil predictions, stop hating on Jagaban so that you won't go back.
