did you buy it at an accredited dealer?The dealer will ask you to go and come back.but if you give an engineer you go wait and collect am.if the fault is from a water spill into the phone waranty don void.

Take it back so when the engr opens and can’t fix it you will not be blamed. They should even change it asap to a new one because a phone of just hours old shouldn’t give you issues.

Low key that's the problem with some of these devices the brands don't have after care services in Nigeria it's so risky cause when you go to fix in unauthorized places it's parts from other phones that fit they'll chook it for you. Very Yeye something. I hope it works out for you bro

Actually all phones can come up with such issues,factory defects cannot be excluded in large scale production
But for transsion products there own worse,if not for redmi in the Nigeria market,transsion would still be serving you guys thrash and substandard phones,
Redmi made them up there game.

Did you confirm the phone was working yesterday before you left the store?
Also did you leave the device working after your brought it without charging?
Try to leave it plugged in for a while,might be a case of drained battery.
Also try to long press the power button for a long time,
If both fails,do not panic,you would have to return the phone back to the store you got it ASAP,so you can be given a new one asap,thou customer care can fix it but it would take a while,now that the issue is still fresh,a swap to a new one would be the best option,transport to Lagos and cost of waiting for a new phone,you are to weigh your options.

I wanted to buy this Redmi 12 too but na this kind of problem make me to change my mind ,so I now bought Infinix Hot 30, at least Infinix and Tecno get after-care service centres, scattered all over each state in Nigeria.

Try a different charger and cable. Also, try a different outlet. If all else fails, you will need to return it for a new one. Make a call tot he seller ASAP.

Sorry for this ugly experience. This is one of the reasons why I will keep going for devices with after care services. I hope you are able to get the issue resolved.

This can be really annoying,it happened to me once,it was so hard to get any response online, I had to find a way to travel back to where I bought my phone to make a complain, XIAOMI really need up their after sale service in Nigeria

Because him transporting himself to that destination is another expense
It must have been a fake Redmi or something else, a brand new phone can't just stop working like that, next time get proper information and expertise before buying anything like this, computer village can be funny sometimes

Go to SLOT outlet at Ado-ekiti, they are authorized distributors for Xiaomi. They will guide you on what to do.

Redmi seems to have issues with 'deadboot'. It once happened to me (brand new Redmi 9T), I returned it they exchanged for a brand new one

To get any part of this device, is a serious task. I hope you are able to get it received.

Do well to take it to where you bought. I hope they will help you find solutions to it. I will advise you to always choose devices with after sales.

You claimed boldly redmi doesn't not have any after sales service you know of,and I called you out on your lies.now you are claiming Abuja and Lagos?
