Application was submitted by April & IHS/visa fee was paid then but something came up and the person couldn’t go for biometrics but the person is ready now, so will the POF just carry the date of the biometrics or from the date application was submitted.

When you send a paid mail, confirm the status of your application, remind the contact centre that it is passed the decision wait time and they should escalate it

The IHS for 5years workers visa should be higher than what you paid unless it’s a health care

If you are certain it’s 5years please contact UKVI about this error immediately. You will be asked to return your passport to get it sorted

Please house I have a situation that need your urgent attention.

My CoS is for 5 years and I paid $635 for is for a 5 year skilled worker visa for me and each of my dependants.

However I received a decision mail this morning that states that my permission is from 27/09/2023 to 27/09/2026 for me and my partner dependant which is 3 years. I believe this is an error.

What should I do in this case? Still waiting for decision for a child dependant though. Kindly advise

I'm trying to fill for my wife's visa(dependant) and on getting to the end of the UKVI I click on to pay for her ihs fee.. but to my greatest surprise the amount is 0 USD.... What may have been the cause ?

I haven't proceed the application after seeing that cuz I assumed there is a problem somewhere.

Please I just got student visa approved. TLS contact sent it to me through DHL. In inside the parcel, I only received my passport with a sticker in one of the pages of passport. Before now , I thought that something like letter should have accompanied the passport to explain more about the condition of the visa given to me. Is only the passport that bears the sticker enough for travel, before getting the brp overthere in uk? Please help

I was told this started because of brexit, when last did you fly with them to UK?

How long ago was this and what visa/passport do you have?

If it is a technical stop over then that’s different, you don’t need to leave the plane as it basically will be refuelling and won’t need a transit visa

If it’s not an technical stopover, and you get off the plane to the airport, you need a transit visa

9th is Saturday. So from 12 to 15th my application is still at DMC and I paid for priority.
I was supposed to get decision in 5 working days that's Monday to Friday. I didn't get any mail from them. And my POF drop at Friday night. Pls is there any hope that decision might be made already. I track it and showing application received by DMC since Monday till Friday. Pls what should I do guys. ?

You are correct.

I travelled through Frankfurt recently for a short visit to Nigeria and although I don’t need a transit visa, others with temporary residency had to get a transit visa

1. You have gotten your collection mail, if there are no refusals by now then congratulations

2. The BRP mail will follow shortly,

3 . The tracker takes time to update sometimes I won’t be too bothered about it

Priority doesn’t always mean a decision must be made in 5days , if more time is needed you will be informed

2’z. You can contact UKVI on Monday to get an update on the status of your application through a paid call or mail

3. I am uncertain of what you mean by “POF drop”. Your POF is for your study in the Uk, any other arrangements is deceit and will attract a 10year ban when caught

If you submitted your application in April

Your statement should be 28days before the date you submitted in April till date (16th September 2023).Covering the entire 5months plus.

It certainly will be more than 28days because of the gap you have had between applying and biometrics

Listen Sir/ Ma, is either you have a valid US or Canadian Visa that makes u to board with this airline without a transit visa... I know of someone that has two stop over..one in Doha and the other in Zurich that was deny boarding last week Sunday .. PLEASE TRANSIT VISA IS REQUIRED IF YOU ARE GOING WITH THIS AIRLINES..EXCEPT YOU HAVE A VALID US OR CANADIAN VISA ..

I explained to them that my kids will not be traveling with me for now, hence, their application was not processed.
Then, I attached my original visa application form.
Send to the email they provided.
After 3 days my passport was moved to vac

landed in UK yesterday with my wife.

I did accordingly and she had a seemly biometric yesterday. The trackers shown the application has been transferred to DMC as at yesterday, though we are yet to receive any message on the corrected email from ukvi

Now another scenario is this

I did my biometric as MA on 1st of September and while filling my application I said she will be traveling with me. My application has been stuck at DMC received since 4th September,

could it be because of delayed in doing her biometric that is responsible for my Visa decision?

Moreso, I am planning to do paid call, can I do it on weekend?

Dont' know what the other guy is saying but you definitely need a transit visa since brexit if you're coming to the UK through the EU.

I think the exception is if you have a return ticket, I am not too sure about that. Best to check with the airline.

Hello, Did you get a confirmation mail after you replied to accept the interview? See attachment. I’m going to Roehampton University too, school resumes 18th September and I’m yet to get my visa though I did bio since Aug 22. I was also invited for an interview on the 4th of September and I attended the interview via teams the next day. I had to wait online for about 30mins before the interviewer showed up, she apologized for coming up late and said she was assigned to interview so many persons that day. I think these people are overwhelmed with numerous applications.

the rules changed since February 2021. If you have a Nigerian passport without a Schenghen, American,Canadian or Japanese visa or permit you need one.

Unless it is research based masters or PhD you can’t travel with dependants from Jan 2024

The rules are clear

Universities are now required to confirm if it is a taught or research based course

Unless people have free visa money to waste then they can try and see
