Samson Tijani is not in the Afcon picture so I don't understand why you will bring that up. Who's talking him up for the Afcon? Please let's avoid unnecessary and irrelevant discussion angles.
He will be in action later today in about 2 hrs+ . Would be his 2nd start and 3rd appearance of the season for Wolfsberger AC so do well to keep watch to see how well he is faring.

On Fisayo, he has 3 goals, 1 assist in Turkey from 4 league games. He will be in action again tomorrow expectedly. He's been operating in the CM role as some kind of 8 towards the left as an LCM or false left winger. Watch him tomorrow for more.

Philosopher1979:

Two questions
1 glad Samsin tijani is now playing regularly at wolfsberger. For me i dont wang him in the nations cup so he can concentrate on his career and have a full season. How well is he playing
2. How well is fisayo dele bashiru doing in hatayspor

Calvin Bassey was blamed a lot at Ajax
Still Ajax losing & doing badly in their domestic league
Was Calvin Bassey’s move a good decision?
Remember that Ajax plays in the champions league regularly so more exposure to European football undecided

My opinion is that Calvin switching to centre back was a bad decision
As a LB at Rangers, he did so well

Mujtahida:

It might sound ironic but I'm not overly happy that we have too many strikers. Even me that is not the coach I'm having headache already. And then I'd have heartache when inevitably some strikers don't make the list.

Our team lacks balance. Midfield combo not settled. Defence still wobbly. Gk wahala still dey.

If the coach allows our firepower in the attack to blind him to our lack in other important areas, we will be undone at this Afcon if a good opposition team adopts correct tactics to curtail our attackers and exploit our vulnerabilities.

At the last Afcon, we were flying high. All it took Tunisia was one shot from the center. And we came crashing down.
If only the coach sorts this out before January
Find a good goalie home or overseas
Find a solid centre back
Find a creative midfielder or box to box from the local league that’s hungry like Sunday mba was.
We have good competition on the flanks
Ola Aina, Zaidu Sanusi, Demola Lookman, Sammy Chukwueze etc
If only Troost Ekong can get regular playing time in his club.
I believe there are a few amazing goalies in the local league ready for glory
If we take out nepotism from the game we can win Afcon.
The coach just needs to balance out the team, we have firepower upfront but not at the back
I was not happy he didn’t give team B a trial against São Tomé

even if he sorts things out he can’t play all the strikers at the same time

He can only pick 3-4 of the most potent with other attributes to come into consideration when picking

As it stands now based on current form of the afcon is next month the 4 that will be picked are

Osimhen
Boniface
Awoniyi
Iheanacho (because he can also fill in as an SS/AM/RW when needed)

Bros na so e be o them go appear every market day once Osimhen doesn't score for a couple of days but disappear once he starts scoring again as It's written in the book of agenda chapter one verse one.

Napoleon55:
All these bellywash and hogwash about Osimhen just because he has failed to score in two games now for Napoli.

T. Moffi will not be happy if he sees this list
They just beat the strongest team in their league

nawaoooo

Winning and scoring twice against PSG won’t guarantee him automatic place in the list. Consistency and his numbers at the end of the season will do that, same applies to other strikers we hv at the moment

Ajax lose 3-1 to Twente and there is no Calvin Bassey to blame.😂😂

Naci Unuvar, #10 for twente (on loan from Ajax) put the final nail in his parent club's coffin.

Nobody on this thread has defended Wilfred Ndidi in the manner i have done his defense.
They say he is limited, i reply that he is not as limited as he is made to look, just that he has been told to keep it simple. He has been told to keep it simple is a statement i kept repeating.

I have known Wilfred Ndidi before his days at Leicester, qualities don't just disappear.

Concerning Kelechi Nwakall, i always have this to say: Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Nwakali and Wilfred Ndidi are the most important players in S.E, very important to how we play. They are like the backbone Eguavoen talked about. Get these guys into the starting lineup and boost our chances of winning any game. This is not a mere talk, but a product of a painstaking research.
with all due respect get nwakali out of there 🤣

Lol. It's just funny really Sir Kog.

2nd tier leagues were looked down upon. Segunda labelled lower league.

Now we have lads in another lower league but not being looked down upon ooo. They are being praised. How ironic.

I am all for supporting our lads but talking down on one's brilliant showings in a 2nd tier league and expecting us to acknowledge another in same 2nd tier football screams Hypocrisy.

Next thing you will hear is Championship is better than La Liga Smartbank as if that cancels the fact that both are 2nd tier leagues.

but still championship is better than smartbank you know right?
