Kelechi Nwakali could easily have put on a far better performance if the Chaves players could have had better quality. There were two killer passes Kelechi Nwakali gave Sanca that he just refused to pursue. There was a long cross pass he gave Langa that he funnily failed to control. That overhead long ball pass (the big chance created), was criminal of Paulo Victor to fail to control. The free kick that one of the players failed to connect was made.

With a better frontline, Nwakali could easily pull some insane stats. I hope he gets to play in a good side soon.

Boniface to Newcastle?
What happened to the former real sociedad striker they signed last season lol.
I guess he doesn’t have the aura/presence of a striker.
Boniface to the rescue
Good move but I’m thinking leverkusen will get a trophy this season
Can it wait till end of season
Mid season can be destabilizing to some players
He settled down perfectly in Germany

I doubt Bayer 04 will sell him mid season. Maybe it will happen next summer if he retains his current form and stay injury free

Isak has been their best player since he signed. Barca are lurking so they are already scouting his replacement, Boniface.

The team with a better front line and good side for Nwakali is called "Super Eagles".

But the NFF and the coaches filled with fo:olish people won't invite him as if the midfielders they invite won't get tired and need to be subbed off.

God bless you for this. Unfortunately, those at the Glass House are just there for the dough. A team boasting of Ndidi, Ajayi, Osimehn and Boniface should find corner kicks as big chances.

We need to do something about it asap. No be only cones and VLC player logo we go dey do for training. Let them perfect the art of dangerous setpieces and ball recoveries(which i saw some potential in the Tome game)

We have the personnel on group. Esp with players like Iwobi, Nacho, Boniface on ground. We too dey dull.

Now just imagine the same action scenarios described in your post based on yesterday's game that the team is the Super Eagles and the players at the end of these chances are Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman or Chukwueze.

Let me not talk.... this is why I cry about him but sadly JPes seems satisfied with Iwobi being our only true creative force through the middle.

I love hearing these two lads' names side by side. A midfield of them both in future when they mature will be orgasmic to witness. Add a mature and ready Daga and you are talking Midfield Masterclass Synergy. They will flow like the river euphrates

players like kanu,Okocha and Mikel are generational talents that emerge once in a long time

France till date is yet to hv another zizou after he retired 17 years ago

Liberia is yet to hv another Weah

Ukraine yet to hv another Schevchenko

Italy yet to produce another baggio

Cameroon yet to hv another Eto’o

CIV yet to hv another drogba and yaya

Germany yet to hv another Klinsmann

Players like Okocha,Mikel and Kanu don't spring up every now and then, they are called generational talents for a reason.
We are already lucky to have one of such talents in Osimhen.
Don't hope for such players to appear before next Afcon.

What we need now is a sound tactician who can effectively work with what we have to achieve success.
A good coach will know what to do with Ndidi and Iwobi to win games, plus Onyedika and Onyeka depending on formation he chooses.
With money we can get a good coach in short while but not the kind of players u were mentioning.

I remember in USA '94, Westerhoff once deployed what looked like a one man midfield formation, even though we had livewire midfield maestro Jay Jay on the team.
In the match,Oliseh was the only natural midfielder, while Siasia and Finidi would come to middle to assist, expecially Siasia who is a striker.

Players like Chukwueze,Iwobi,Boniface and Ndidi should be able to complement Osimhen to bring the balance the team really need.
With right coaching, a tight defense can be achieved also.

Leave Argentina out of it. They produce 10s like water. Even their famous strikers and wingers are actually 10s.

List of Argentines that have played as 10s sometime in their lives.

Ortega
Gallardo
Tevez
Aguero
Aimar
Riquelme
Insua
Zarate
Buonanote
Di Maria.

Nigeria has no excuse why we are not churning out creative talents. It is just that our system is corrupt and it is hard for genuine talents to breakthrough without envelopes.

I have not even seen ur reply to him before mine,to remind him that such players are called generational talents for a reason.

We are looking at about close to 30yrs or so before such players to appear again.
I once said that it could take over 30yrs for players like Ronaldo and Messi to appear again but some didn't believe it

I don't believe in that talk of generational stuff. It takes genuine efforts and search to discover real talents. Osimhen and co. we're discovered because Amunike did a genuine national screening process.

If we carryout a genuine talents search, we will discover gems.
