I and my 2 dependant applied 6th of September, I received an empty nsf for my 2 dependant on 12th of September which scared the hell out of me because I don’t want a situation where I will have to travel without my 10 month old baby.

Good evening all. Applied for Visa on August 28th (opted for assisted service and priority) and received empty NSF on August 30th.

There has been silence from their end till Sept 15th when I was sent a mail in the morning for an interview by 2:00pm.
The interviewer did not show up throughout the time set. I received another mail for another interview slated for 19th Sept, I sent a reminder a day before the interview and another one on the day of interview, alas, interviewer didn't show up the second time. At this point I'm tired.
I have not been contacted by them since they didn't show up.

What could be happening How do I resolve this?
School resumes on the 25th Sept.

I have already bought my flight ticket from Cotonou to London with Brussels airline, but there is one stop in Brussels, I just wanted to confirm if I will be needing a transit visa.

Even though they've not be successful, I got an insight from the response they get on what could be delaying my visa decision, please see attached. I know I don't have problem with financial verification but if UKVI conducts verification on degree certificates, I have a real concern with my school responding to their query in time and could well be what is delaying my visa. The question is does UKVI actually verify degree certificates issued in Nigeria?

I really needed help here on August 2nd I went for my biometric at TLScontact ikeja and that same day it transferred to DMC and also received by DMC since then till now it is still at DMC

My application have exceeded the standard processing time15working (3 weeks) which was on the 23rd of August

I did a paid call on 23rd of August and I was told it is still awaiting decision and my case was escalated with a reference number

On Friday 25th of August I got a mail from Sheffield student escalation team that my case is currently under consideration and being work on and that I will get a response as soon as possible

Note that I didn’t receive the NSF mail or any mail requesting for further information or documents

I did biometrics on the 22nd of August, then interview on the 5th of September and today being exactly one month since my biometrics I got a mail from Tls that my passport is ready for pickup. No NSF mail, no request to provide more documentations and no news from UKVI since biometrics. Is there any way to tell if the application was successful?

If you transiting at one EU country, No Schengen visa needed.
If you are transiting through more than one EU country, you will need a Schengen visa.
If it’s unclear still call the airline’s customer care.

No need to worry, they know he or she is in Migeria and famil with such.
If they need or still want to. It will be done by phone call , if the previous was video.
They will sort it anyway, it’s not on the student.

Transiting through one Schengen country doesn’t require a visa.
Doing so through more than one Schengen countries require a transit visa.
