You should be watching way more HBO shows that those two. If I had a platform with direct access like that, na to use that opportunity force myself watch all the HBO shows I can lay my hands on on time while it lasts.

There's so many HBO shows I wan watch but time, needs and other things dey hold me down.

Where do you think I watched Succession on? You have no idea the amount of HBO shows I've seen.
Chernobyl even to Rome. Even recapped BVS and MOS again and again.

The only challenge is that sometimes you just need to see what's going on on other platforms like Netflix and Amazon prime which I have too.

Nice... I downloaded first episode of ROME few months ago but yet to create time to focus and rewatch it. I watched it as a teen then, didn't watch the whole series, didn't understand the themes or stuff then sef apart from interest in the gargantuan might of the Roman Empire and the nudity .

At the bolded, yep that's the problem. You've got to see compelling content from other platforms in the long run. HBO can't provide all the genres sef.

Not really...... I noticed e no too plenty like dat but back in the days the nudity na die, especially with the full frontals.


On HBO, WBD under Zaslav will most likely sell to the highest bidder and don't give a damn about past relationships and possibly Multichoice couldn't match the asking price.
WBD under Zaslav is slowing down their push for expanding HBOMax. Instead it's focusing on profitability and selling content in markets it doesn't have plans for yet. A stark contrast to Jason Kilar's rapid expansion plan and policy of having all WB properties on ONE PLATFORM.
Indian debut was pushed back recently and opted for a local distribution deal instead of the plan to commence operations around late this year or early next year.

All these no give me hope of seeing HBOMax in Nigeria/Africa in the nearest future. Maybe na 2027-28 before person smell that one.

All I can say about this movie is damn! This movie is a masterpiece and a beautiful work of art! It could easily pass as my best movie for this year! Acting, checked, action sequences, checked, story, checked, humour, checked, cinematography, checked, pacing, checked - Blue Beetle is perfect!

The emotions in the movie, the balance between the comedic, tragic and heroic parts is something that should be studied. The whole family thing feels real, not Fast & Furious-ish and is relatable. I've not gotten this kinda satisfaction from a DC movie in a long time now.

Becky G as Khaji-Da's voice is just perfect as she's one of my best female musicians, her voice and sense of humour is sooo on point. The entire cast was perfect - something you can't take out of the DC Cinematic Universe, right from Zack Snyder till date 👌🏾

Lastly, the reference to the famous Scorpion's "Get over here" from Jamie was raaaaddd 🥶👊🏾😂
