What really is going on with Accra VO? No update since medicals I am just tired

Do we not have anyone whose SS app was approved from Accra VO this year? Are we all just on this endless wait

very crazy seeing people with applications in april and may already processed. someone really has to address this disparity in treatment

Totally unfair. You can send webforms and mails If your application has passed the processing time.

You need to check document checklist for the documents required and they are alot. Better still go to “hit and submit” page on YouTube for better information.

Good morning all, please how can one avoid one's application from getting to Accra VO? Is it correct to say all spousal applications (outland) submitted from Nigeria will always go to the Accra VO?

i don't think you get a choice there, personally i havent seen another other office for nigerians, it's Accra.

Uhmmm, thanks for the response. Does this suggest that even inland applications by Nigerians would still be processed in Accra?

I think at this point we all need to bombard them on Twitter. Canada High Commission Ghana... Let's create awareness, we can do it...

I sent an email to IOM stating that I did upfront medicals and that I was sent an a new IME when I got my medicals request letter. I wanted them to confirm if my result has been sent to IRCC. I was sent a webform link advised to reach out to IRCC via webform stating the IME I got from IOM and telling them to use the Emedicals slip I got from IOM. I filled the webform and uploaded the slip along with the medical request letter I got. Make sure to state your application number, name and UCI when filling the form tho.

Accra VO is really really the cause of the delay. Spousal applications with other VOs are processed within a shorter time. Isn't there any platform to air our grievances. I think this is so unfair!!!

Yes i did but still no update on it.
I haven’t seen anyone with an update as well. Just hoping this SS comes out soonest coz 6months is almost here.

I wish we know any way to express our grievances. personally, i have raised countless webforms and emails, yet no response. Going through this delay again can be mentally draining.

Submitted SS application in June and got AOR and approval for eligibility to sponsor in August. Afterwards, biometric fee was requested even though my spouse already had it valid. After payment, biometrics was updated mid-Sept without any re-capture. We have been waiting but nothing till now.

Also, has anyone got their spouse applicant TRV approved within 30 days? ours is over 30 days and I am getting worried

it sounds like your application is moving fast which is good. personally i got my medical request in august, which was almost 2.5 months after biometrics.

This is a good development because in a while now it seems like the only update most people have been getting from accra VO is medicals. They are simply checking if you are eligible and it’s possible they are done with background checks but yet to update that on the portal. Lets keep our fingers crossed for Prearrival/ppr.
