Hi-Tech and CCECC
CCECC is literally a Chinese company founded in 1979. Hi-tech founded in 1988 has been dealt with above.

This is a good way to start. I hope they’ve mapped out how to fund the project. It would be a big deal if Tinubu can deliver this massive project in 4 years.

As for me I have no complain about politicians looting but they should build long last road that last forever like the ones I see whenever I travel about. That is my only problem with Nigeria politicians. Why must be reconstructe same road every 6-10 years .

Loot a trillion to do a good job do n let's know we are forever done we that so that even if it is at a snail speed we all can agree we are done with that n move to develop new road n area.

You will be surprised that since 1999 Nigeria as not build a single new highway, not even one beside this coastal road they are talking about, which might take 40 years to complete.

All Nigeria government projects always looks good on paper, of cause with it's over inflated figures that will end up in politicians pockets..

But then if they carry this through , then it will be a win win for all

Aside the fact, that this is the president business...yes President Tinubu has interest in HITECH

Yes. They are business partners to any state governments, any Nigerian president in Power, and Nigerian Billionaires. I first heard of them during the days of Abacha.

1st pic: Chagoury in the middle.
2nd pic: Chagoury extreme right with Macron ,Dangote, Dantata, Adenuga and Elumelu.
He is only close to Abacha and Tinubu, the picture with Jonathan was when Clinton visited Eko Atlantic city which Chagoury is funding

Hi tech is own by Lebanese Mafias Chagoury Group Tinubu's dirty business partners
The same Chagoury built the National Assembly complex, New General hospital in Yenagoa, Glassforce factory in Aba, Total JV office in Port Harcourt, Tinapa Hotel in Calabar, Akwa Ibom international convention centre e.t.c

you can't mention construction in Nigeria, without mentioning these Chagoury brothers Roland and Hilbert.

No. It's owned by Nigerian-Lebanese Billionaires Chagoury brothers and founded in 1988.

That's how you all pass around propaganda and the media houses also latch unto those propaganda.
Tinubu is an investor partner with the Chagoury group. They handle all major contracts in Lagos state, Tinubu is a part owner of Hi-Tech

They are connecting southwest to oil rich South South . This is a Yoruba strategic project just like Niger Republic was connected to the north by rail. Yorubas are always strategic.
Re: FG Awards Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway To Hitech by skj1377(m): 9:45pm On Sep 24, 2023
As long as there is a road connecting southwest to southsouth the rest of Nigeria can't disconnect it during political disagreement or conflict. Tinubu is a true Yoruba leader and thinker. Before any dissenting region gets to blockade that road it will be very difficult. Secondly supplies can easily transverse the road between Lagos port and southsouth region . Wow.

Truth must be told. Most of the local road construction companies in Nigeria can’t build a modern day road because they don’t have equipment to do this.

Those companies are founded by our politicians as a away to defraud the country.

Instead of Lagos to calabar coastal high way, why don't we support the Lagos to calabar marine door that is even more efficient and won't take up traffic from the already congested areas. Please o, people look at the map from Lagos to calabar, wouldn't sea travel be the best given the locations of both places. Hehehehe. Am I mad or is it these people who aren't sane

If the Marine door is well propagated, we can have Lagos to Connect Warri, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and then Cross River through the ocean route, totally cancelling out the need for super high way. Lagos doesn't have the stamina for everything to consistently be on the road. Are these people without brains ?

Unless it's an existing road route that's been extended, it leaves much to be understood. Cause seeing the road route, it's easy to say that roads should be in existence on the routes cited in the map

You're right. I don't see a need for a new road while there are already-existing routes. A sea route would've been the best option, but any discerning mind knows they're awarding this contract because the company seems to belong to Tinubu, or he has a very high stake in the company

They don’t have any intention of ever finishing that rail line, not in the next 50 years.

He has a high stake in the company. Please don't mind all the technical jargon from Umahi. All na scope to deceive Nigerians. The east west road already exists from Warri down to Calabar, nothing like coastal nonsense.

Again when they say Yorubas don't travel you will be vexing. Look at how confidently you just spewed trash. Onitsha- Benin Highway along with the Benin Bypass to Benin Shagamu was done in Obasanjo's administration.

They will use the guise of local content, whereas it was set up by Chargoury. This would show you the political interest in the company. There was no bids sent for that project. No one knows the basis with which Hitech was selected for that complex road project.

exactly my thoughts. Those roads are already existing. It's only Lagos axis that new roads would be created. The so called cement road: would they use machine to grade off the existing bitumen road in the path they are mentioning? Why is tinubu putting toll gates on the south south road and not doing same for all federal roads in the south west and north? We don't have more federal roads than the north and south west. So why toll gate ? Federal government must stop maltreating the south south by treating them only as cash cow but not as a golden hen to be idolized
You would have safe yourself from this daft comment if you go through the op post
