Agreed! I think this is why Frankfurt wants Orban!
Bannedlargedx2:

I wasn’t judging only the technical aspect of his game but his overall performance and I wasn’t speaking in reference to me, but in reference to pundits. You can be technically better than another striker and still not be overall a better goal scorer.

An open letter from a super eagles fan based in Germany who prefered to be anonimous

" Hi Coach Jose Peseiro of the Super eagles of Nigeria, how are you coping with the Selection headache regarding strikers selection with the super eagles because I'm following all our attackers performances and they are all performing well. Concerning our goalkeeping department, I don't think Francis Uzoho deserves to be in the super eagles fold, try and consider calling up goalkeeper Noah Otubolu who has being in fine form with Freiburg of Germany, Tobias Lawal an excellent goalkeeper good with his feet plays in Austria with Lask and goalkeeper Sebastian Osigwe of FC Lugano in Switzerland. Try scouting for World class midfielders , there is one Ugochukwu of Chelsea in England and Udogie of Spurs, I bet we can convince them to switch allegiance to Nigeria, they are world class, thank you Jose Peseiro"

Guys, what do you think about this open letter to the super eagles coach Jose Peseiro ?

They all said they don't want to play for us presently. What do you want JP to do? Put rope on their necks and drag them to Nigeria? Those we have are good enough for us. We don't need those that does not wants us! QED!

Atubolu should be reached out to know his stand, same goes to Tobias

Between ugochukwu and udogie I think the former will be easier to get than the latter

Udogie will play for Italy and his agent hv openly advised that Nigeria should look elsewhere because his client though has Nigerian roots but feels more Italian and only wants to play for the Azurris

The nff and jpes should go all out for Tobias, Atubolu(won’t be easy), ugochukwu ( hv to go through his uncle Apam), Uduokhai, Folorunsho( the easiest to get imho) ,Adarabioyo and Okoli ( open to the idea but yet to decide)

Would hv added Koleosho but he seem too erratic to my liking with very poor decision making

Ogbu and Tella should be given a chance latest in the team’s first game in qualifiers for the World Cup

good enough yes but equipping the team with more isn’t a bad idea

Peseiro I doubt is yet to reach out to all, I know he met okoli who asked for more time to decide , don’t hv any idea if ugochukwu hv been talked to

To hv a better World Cup outing we need more good players in the team, if not for anything for squad depth

Osimhen needs to take Jose's advice. He needs to stop flopping.

Why is Osimhen diving unnecessarily? Guy get up and play football. Two good times he should have stayed on his feet to get a good chance at goal but he prefers rolling on the ground under minor challenge! Frustrating!

Nice shift from Kelechi Nwakali. Also good show from the team. Finally picked a draw and I hope things improve from there.

Jose Gomes should know there is no short cut to success and needs to work on the team's build up play. They should learn to work the ball from the back.

He needs to change Kelechi Nwakali's role to a wingfielder role where he gets to receive the ball in dangerous areas and use his passing skills more effectively.

This shift in tactics can work wonders for the team.

Ugochukwu might play for us in the future but not now! He is an integral part of France under 21 team! So no need wasting time on him. I would rather we approach Folorunsho. I like his ruggedness!

you re right about ugochukwu

He will likely be selected for 2024 Olympics. After that I think we stand a chance

Folorunsho amongst others will be the easiest, he will celebrate all night if reached out to by the nff and peseiro

They are both my boys but I hate a diving striker. Diving infront of open net when a cross can come to you to score? Why? He wasn't even treated for any injury. lol!

If Gift orban that was rated as an overall better striker than Boniface when they were both in the belgian league and Boniface transferred to a superior league and also excelling, it’s a clear indicator that orban might excel at the big 3 leagues

It doesn't work like that

Why are we still talking about Kelechi Nwakali in 2023, is it that we have no other midfielder undecided
