My evisa has been granted today.
How can I get my passport from VFS because I was told to submit it along with my documents.

You mean 15th of this month, last week?

When you want to gather information, be intentional about it. Dont just throw questions for immediate response. Having requisite details matters too. What we tell you here is just a bit of it, you are to carry out more research on your own.

If you need know more about SA visa process and learn the tricks to get the visa, read more on it.

I have been alot of those links lately because i noticed that gap.

Did you finally get the outcome? Was it positive?

It was rejected, reason:invalid statement of account. Funny people, submitted an FNB statement of account as I live in SA and the application was for a minor. I guess once the eye is not there, it’s most likely a rejection. All the best to those waiting for a response.

Hello crusader can you please share your documents you used for the evisa approval and what you did differently, especially as they claim a lot of bank statements submitted are invalid thanks!

My application was for a conference visa lasting for a week. It was fully funded, flight bookings and hotel reservation were made.

Documents I submitted were,
Bank statement with the reference letter in the first page.. available balance about 500k
Letter of introduction
Letter from my employer
Job appointment letter
Flight itinerary
Hotel booking
Yellow fever card
International passport data page
Letter of invitation, stating the sponsorship.
Former visas, just Kenya visa

The processing time was a week plus and it's my first south African Visa.

The duration of stay is just from the date I arrive Sa to the date my flight leaves. No single day added

I submitted a physical application too with my passport, I have emailed VFS for withdrawal of application so that I can get my passport back. They sent my a form to fill and return to them. Who knows how long it will take for me to collect my passport?

My travel date is 3rd week of October.

You shouldn't have withdrawn your application. You rather should have opted for temporary withdrawal of your passport.

However, you'll get your passport retuned before Friday.

Morning Ayo, I'm not expecting any feedback till November/December o. Physical application indeed take longer.

I also noticed last time at the port of entry that most of the officers dey avoid eVisa. I don't know why. Although they don't have a choice than to attend to everyone.

My brother, the last evisa i got my eye see wetin mouth no fit talk. The only thing i can advise travelers is to carry all their documents when they are on evisas. The scrutiny is more

For evisa, if my valid entry date is for e.g 15th but my flight arrival to SA is 14th, will immigration allow me entry? When processing the evisa, this mistake was made by dha but I emailed and the issue was not resolved.

What else can I do?
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Africankel(m): 5:25am On Sep 24, 2023
You may not even be allowed on the flight, talk more of immigration allowing you into the country.

The only thing to do is to reschedule your flight.

You will be allowed to fly from Lagos and enter SA. Check well, is it 14th you arrive or 15th. All flight to SA arrives next day , unless you are on a direct flight on SAA

Flight leaves around 23pm and arrives 6am the next day which is the 14th.
I did draw the attention to the evisa officer via email and he admitted it was a mistake that he used the date of the conference instead of my arrival date.
And the South African Airways don’t travel everyday. If I reschedule I will have to travel on the date of the conference and arrive the next day.

You will pay to reschedule your flight to the airline. Date change is chargeable.

Or have you not booked yet?

That is what I meant.
