I think he may be unhappy and wants to make them pay for their greed.

lovewins:

What I predicted seem to be coming true. Gent will be the biggest loser in all of this. They had an opportunity to get at least 6 times what they paid for him with significant sell-on clause under a year, but chose instead to be greedy. They had better pray this dry spell end at some point (I hope so for Gift's sake), or they'll be lucky to get a €15M offer next summer.

I think our 4 strikers spot is settled for the AFCON: Osimhen, Boniface, Awoniyi, Moffi.

Only a genius like you can select 4 back to goals type of strikers for afcon 😂

Not at his own detriment. How does playing badly and not scoring help his future prospects? Clubs were already skeptical about him cause they can only account for one year of professional football and felt the price placed on him was too much for a gamble. Having a barren second season only plays to their skepticism and won't help Orban on any way. I think it's just a spell and hopes it passes soon for his sake.

Goal drought is part of the game except you’re prime messi and cristiano Orban will be fine he just needs a mindset reset

I already acknowledged it as a dry spell in my comments so I wasn't arguing against that. It's also why I prayed "the dry spell ends soon".

The crux of my point is on Gent's gamble that could come back to bite them if this spell continues.

That is a plus for eagles, possibly Ndidi can move forward and gives Onyedika or Onyeka space to operate

Not too long ago performances in the Championship were considered to be poor quality for SE consideration. The name farmers, carpenters league etc, was used generously.

As soon as fans favourite Ndidi plays in the championship 🏆 the goal posts are moved. That's very normal here.

I do think Ndid is learning to play differently and developing a new more attack minded skill set , can he transfer that to the Premier League if they Leicester city, get promoted ❓

His close control and dribbling is certainly one of the best I've seen from a lot Nigerian striker since Kanu and Ike Uche.

Wetin mk Chaves Dey bench nwakali when he is ranked the 2nd most creative midfielder in the league?

Their coach must be partial 🥺🤕

No he is blind he needs a refresher course in coaching from the all knowing TheGoodJoe .

Imagine giving the best Midfielder in his team a mere 19 minutes of game time.

Nwakali should tear up his contract and see the top clubs begging to sign him for million instead of getting €1K ➕ a week wages.

Nwakali and his team have redeemed themselves and I ddnt watch the game but Chaves were trailing by 2 goals and in steps in Nwakali from the 71st and game ends as a 2 all draw. It is reasonable to assume that Nwakali's introduction changed the tide of the game.

It's unreasonable to assume the unlikely.

Did he get an assist, did he score , did he get any free kicks that led to the goals, etc ❓

If not it's sentimental wishful thinking.

Bro Ndidi ship has sailed there’s no way on earth he can make a 360° and turn to a modern day ball carrying DMF.

If he starts to do that they’ll be a lot of mistakes and a top club won’t take that risk.

It’s one of the reasons Leicester sank

Ndidi na jambody and short passes nothing more
