Good evening everyone. Is there anyone that submit his or her Visa application, at VFS global office in Lagos State, in the month of July 2023? Has anyone heard from them?

NOTE: I have been using this link for physical application tracking. I don't know if it works for e - application

This is to update you on the progress of my evisa (DHA) application . I submitted the application on 12/09/2023, however when the list of supporting documents was displayed, I realised that the selected visa category was wrong! I chose "Business visa section 15" because my trip is for business," business visa section 15" is for those interested in setting up a business in South Africa. The correct visa for my purpose is visitor's visa section 11.

A fresh application for visitor's visa was completed, this was immediately rejected because of the pending business visa application, "awaiting supporting documents". I sent an email to hacc@dha.gov.za with a request for the cancellation of the business visa application. HACC replied on 14/09/2023, stating that my query has been "forwarded to the relevant department for assistance".

The business visa application status is still showing "awaiting supporting documents" today exactly two weeks from HACC's response,there has been no subsequent correspondence from HACC. I sent another cancellation request again today. It has been posted on this forum, that applications not backed up with supporting documents will cancel after 14 days. Is it 14 calendar days or working days?

Same dilemma here. The website is wacky. Or their process. Somehow they have also not cancelled a previous application i submitted for my friend. I created another one hoping to submit after they cancel the previous one, but its even the new one they deleted from the profile.

Now we are just waiting for the actual travel dates for my friend to pass so i can see if they eventually cancel..

I went to apply for pta from the bank and they said I need to apply directly on CBN webpage ..

Is this the new procedure for getting it?

Yeah, been like that for years. You apply via this site https://www.tradesystem.gov.ng/landing/index.html
Do you have your tax cert though? Also you can only get it at "available" price so expect it to be almost at the black market rate smiley .

True! but if you have the required documents buy from CBN :

For example the I&E exchange (a.k.a cbn) rate for 28/09/2023 was N775.99 (fmdqgroup.com/exchange/)
Black market rate for 28/09/2023 was N1,008 (aboki FX)

If you are buying $1,000 you will save N232,010!

Hi Friends,

Please I have been unable to sign into the VFS PORTAL to schedule an appointment.

It's frustrating and I have even called them out on Twitter but no response. Everything they adviced other complainants on Twitter to do, I have done them but nothing changed. I have cleared my browser cache, history and cookies, restarted my system, changed browser, changed ISP, use a new laptop, etc did not work.

I am tired already.

Please someone should try and help me. I need to know if this is happening to me alone

It could be network issues. I experienced similar issues when I did mine then. I was advised not to use Google Chrome. I ended up using Opera Mini browser. This was in July this year anyways. Perhaps you should try Firefox browser or Opera Mini browser.

HACC responded on October 2nd, stating that the first application I submitted by mistake was cancelled on 21/09/2023. I successfully submitted a fresh application just now , the first application is still showing awaiting documents.

I got my stamped and signed embassy statements from Access bank on 4/09/2023. Do you think these will still be okay, considering that its almost a month ago? This is for the visitor's evisa application through DHA. Let me know your thoughts on this please.

I think you should get a new bank statement just to be on the safe side.

How you identify a scammer is when they recently registered on Nairaland and they want to sell rands the same day or following day. You all play safe with your monies here.

You are actually very foolish and not smart.

You registered two accounts on same day with seperate genders. Now you have south africa on one and the order has no location.
You are a dead man walking around and you will soon be caught and ruthlessly dealth with.
