Good day everyone

Please can my brother in the US be my sponsor without sending me his statement of account and other documents.

But said he will send me a letter of sponsor and stating that IRCC should request from him directly. Please will this fly, anyone with this experience

Please I really need response. Thank you

Haba! is he the President of the United State? Try to identify his concerns, show understanding and come up with a solution that will make him comfortable to release his account statement.

It wouldn't work. Even if he transfers all the monies to you, he will still need to show his statement. How will irrc request his statement. He obviously doesn't want you to have idea of his financial activities. Can he do MBS? If that exists for US accounts? If he can. Then he can create a MBS ticket and give that to you. He must definitely submit his statement of acct and supporting docs to show source of his money and that they were genuinely made

Ah!!!
You added prayer at the end of your comment? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
I thought when i get to Canada my prayer point will be next to nothing (that is if i have 20 prayer points while I'm in Nigeria, itโ€™s becomes 1 to nothing). ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyway, your statement is very much encouraging and appreciated.
As for me, what I get from all this negativity comments is to make sure Iโ€™m fully prepared for the worst, but still it can never be as bad as Nigeria.

God will continue to help us all

You might want to complete your form and send him your merged documents .. and tell him to merge his SOA to them. Give him your login info and tell him to help you submit.. I dont know if that makes sense lol.

LOL, our diaspora brothers be doing the most, it is clear he does not want the applicant to know his financial status. If not, what will it take for a statement to be printed and added to the application.

1. You can apply for from your internet banking platform or mobile app (For GTB I am sure of this).

2. Visit any major branch and request for MBS to Canada from the customer service, they will process it for you.

You will be given a sheet containing the passcode to the statement that you will upload with your application.

you can use google for the first question or try wakanow.com/skyscanner. For accommodation get a domiciliary account and pay for airbnb. After landing you sort your accommodation.

Okay, thank you.

not everyone is comfortable with their relatives knowing their finances. Like one of my friends they wanted to use billing to kill , baba told them he lost his job and got another one with lesser pay. Meanwhile he got a better paying one. Will you drop your account statement in that scenario๐Ÿ˜†

That's not true. I applied for a GCMS note from Nigeria and got it in 3 weeks (usually 4 weeks or slightly more) and many others on this platform also applied for it from Nigeria and got it.

Depends on the content of the LOE. Also you have to include all supporting docs to show source of money and its genuineness
