In 1999, in an affidavit Bola Tinubu claimed he attended and graduated from Richard Daley College, 1969-1971 and then the University of Chicago with a Bsc in Economics from 1972-1976. And that he also attended and graduated from the Chicago State University from 1977-1979 with a degree in Business and Administration.

When University of Chicago disowned him, he stopped parading that credential and held on to Chicago state University. He no longer include the date he attended Richard Daley College formerly SouthWest College because the dates no longer add up after he took off the University of Chicago from his claims!

Additional information has revealed that Bola Tinubu spent a combined five years in U.S Jail as Yekini Amoda Sangodele for the two times he went in for narcotic crimes and credit card fraud in the late 60s and early 1970s. He was thereafter deported to Nigeria, in what is documented in the FBI files, according to U.S sources.
Sangodele tried to return to the U.S but could not. He then got a Visa to Canada and re-entered the U.S from Canada and reconnected with his allies in Chicago where he continued his drug businesses. He changed his name to Bola Tinubu on his return to Chicago and has since kept the name.

The Jackson fellow seems (intentionally or not) to have mixed a couple of things up.

The document (if it is genuine) is not an affidavit for change of name. It is a degree verification search conducted by a Mr. Pedro Perez at the request of a Mr. Udo Ekekeulu

This search (by Perez) of the US National Student clearing house was "unable to confirm" that Bola Tinubu is a graduate of the University of Chicago. Make of that what you will.

Some of BAT's supporters on this thread are pretending to be obtuse. The point here is that BAT's forms once claimed (in 1999) that he graduated from the University of Chicago - a claim that Mr. Perez' search has not been able to authenticate through a degree verification search. All the talk on this thread by BAT supporters about 'contradictions' between a 'tweet on CSU' and a 'degree verification search on U of C' is utter nonsense.
