There is no doubt that BAT is a fraudulent & deceptive character. A characteristic akin to 99% of Nigerian politicians.

The criminal is already cancelled globally. In most sane countries, once you have a criminal record, no organization will have anything to do with you. But here is a drug dealer. Fraudstar. Impostor. As well as other criminalities he is involved in, yet some primitive people due to tribalism want him to continue tarnishing Nigeria's image?!

This is what this country has been reduced to.

A protracted debate on the eligibility of its president to hold the office he occupies. Back and forth, left and right, round and round - in both home and foreign courts - and things haven't even moved into second gear yet. Shocking statements by counsel to the president - statements that will no doubt have serious implications for ordinary Nigerians in the future - and the lawsuit is still in the opening stages.

In a matter of weeks, security agencies of a foreign power intend to publicly release their information on our president. No matter how heavily redacted, these documents are likely to make for extremely uncomfortable viewing. I do not think Nigerians fully understand the magnitude of what the US security apparatus intends to do in a couple of months.

Back home...things are getting worse. The security situation is deteriorating, particularly in Northern and Eastern Nigeria. We have an economy in freefall with severe local currency depreciation AND rising prices across the board. The pain is real. It is near impossible to govern effectively under these circumstances.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record...we brought all this upon ourselves. Nigerians chose very poorly when Muhammadu Buhari was elected in 2015 and we compounded this poor choice by re-electing him in 2019. Instead of fully repudiating the APC (and everything it stands for) in the 2023 elections, Nigerians closed their eyes yet again. In some parts of the country the electorate conferred a veneer (however thin) of legitimacy on yet another inept, incompetent APC government in deeply flawed elections. We now have the Tinubu administration and we will pay a heavy price for the choices we made. There is no easy way out now.

Elections have consequences.

Tinubu is just the must fraudulent man that ever liveth in Nigeria.

Yeah it's old but true.

The truth is that everything about Tinubu is questionable. Decades ago, there was this Nollywood film I saw where a man married a woman without introducing her to her people and village.

Years later, his wife insisted that he must take her to his village. He accepted, and they left for the village. On getting to the village, the man pointed at his family house for the lady and told her to go in while he goes to pee.

When the lady went in and introduced herself to his so-called mother-in-law, she was shocked and told her that her son died several years ago. The woman even took the young lady to his purported husband's graveside. She fainted afterwards.

I just hope we don't have such a mystery man as president.
