descarado: Why would a reasonable person call Eko Atlantic an elephant project? Ibos should channel their frustration elsewhere. Yotuba are not responsible for the array of bad leaders that litter their region. It has been like that since the days of Azikwe Elephant projects are rare in Yoruba land. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

Well Mr OP! I think u re forgetting something here… the Eko Atlantic City hosted the The 2022 NBA AGC, themed Bold Transitions! The NBA conference is a huge deal! If u’ve been to one ! Its a total lock down for such state hosting it! Secondly Eko Atlantic is the newest business district thereby reducing the existing pressure from VI… as you know Businesses in VI are not owned by the poor! So the same applies to Eko Atlantic! Thirdly its a sand filled area! You don’t just build right away on areas recovered from the sea via sand filling! Uve got to make it settle and this takes years! VI, part of Marina was also sand filled in order to expand the areas available to offices. Lastly! It is private driven with no kobo from government other than creating an enabling environment! Have you been to Manhattan USA… or city centres as they call it! It’s not meant for the poor! Please disabuse your mind that since the poor cannot afford then it’s of no benefit Not everyone can afford data to access Nairaland! That doesn’t make it any less useful! Thank you and God bless 9 Likes 3 Shares |

Varunpulyani: Your criticism of Eko Atlantic city is a mere reflection of your unintelligent nature. Can't you reasonably think of cities like Dubai and Doha? Who were the cities designed for? Was it for gala hawking Igbos with sagging scalps and necks, or was it for the rich? You hypocrite. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Xxxxtentacion2: To curb erosion. Simple and short. If you like call am white elephantiasis project. Owners of properties that were almost submerged into the sea are appreciative of this project. For your information, it's ppt. The reason the private investors are sand filling and building defence wall to protect the seacoast, and are the ones selling the land and building infrastructures there. Most of you are olodo. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Xxxxtentacion2: If you don't have any meaningful contribution just rest. Eko Atlantic is not an elephant project. It is only a failed project or a project that doesn't add value to society can be classified in that category of elephant project. However, leaving Obi Mono rail to criticise Eko Atlantic is suspicious and grossly unfair 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Kobojunkiee: That's the primary reason for eko Atlantic.....novice. To you it's nonsense but for the inhabitants of Lagos state, it was the solution for protecting their ancestral land and billion dollars worth of investments from submerging under the sea. Do you understand? 3 Likes 1 Share |
