Saao: Have you got figures for how much it would cost each month and where the money money will come from We understand that as of the time the subsidy was removed in June the government has not paid a kobo of subsidy this year. NNPC covered the payment and so the government is still owing NNPC about 6 months which it has not been able to pay and still must pay So again what will it cost each month and where will the money come from? 1 Like 1 Share |

“There is no joy in seeing the people of this nation shoulder burdens that should have been shed years ago. I wish today’s difficulties did not exist. But we must endure if we are to reach the good side of our future.” this is the same tinubu that sponsored and funded the riots against subsidy removal during gej tenure because he was financially affected, and his financial interest was at stake, after having made trillions from subsidy payments he is now admitting that it was wrong after all. if he knew it was bad, why did he sponsor those riots then against subsidy removal? and maybe Nigerians were just created by God to suffer and live in pains in the hands of their leaders. 4 Likes 1 Share |

So after 6 months what happens? So CNG is coming…. After removing subsidy..this is an after thought? No plan in place to cushion the effect of subsidy. Truth is, if elections were held today, most of the folks complaining would stilll vote for him. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Saao: to think that this applies to Federal Government workers, i would say less than 2%. And with such a move, the commodity market may react to this and prices go up, only for everyone of the remaining 98% to meet in same market. |

Only for six months, and with low-grade employees. NLC must begin their strike. The policies of Tinubu worsen people's circumstances rather than improving them. Well, Tinubu may have improved Lagos State, but he is unable to improve Nigeria as a whole since the country is too large for him to handle. 2 Likes 1 Share |
