lgb0 men rarely do nationwide business like the northerners, they are making it sound like the government banned southerners from doing these businesses.
That's the narrative they are selling.
Few days ago, an lgb0 man told me that Ibeto was shut down because it's an lgb0 business.
Why all the lies.
Why??
U lie on that nationwide business. Igbos are doing businesses across border bro.

Dangote Cement may likely in their usual Monopolistic hustle order all available BUA Cement in the market, rebag and sell it at 5,500 per bag making a profit of 2k per bag and driving BUA out of market. Fear that company
I doubt they can. BUA produce a lot of cement and plan to even expand even more. Dangote will just become their number one customer

Dangote is a crooked monopoly shark. He will never reduce the price of his overpriced cement. He would rather increase it.

If you think his new refinery will reduce fuel prices when it starts production, think again.

To be honest, this news is one of it kinds in recent Nigeria, I am very happy and at the same time I feel for business owner who might have too much cement at store presently.
God bless Nigeria
if he had suddenly hiked the price to 9k all the businesses you are talking about would've quickly jacked their prices to 11k even though they already had cements in their warehouse so let them cope

Na today? What happened to ibeto?

Negative competition happened to Ibeto.

Unethical practices by Dangote happened.

He suffocated all players; Lafarge,Unicem, Ashaka, Ibeto, BUA etc by crashing prices till it was no longer profitable for them to stay afloat. They all started having problems servicing their credit lines, and cut back on production or closed completely.

When they all fizzled out, Dangote took over the market.

Don’t make it sound like Ibeto was d only victim.

There's no monopoly in cement production in Nigeria.

If you say Dangote produce most of the cement in Nigeria , I would have agree with you. There's three major cement producer in Nigeria and as you can see, Bua is strategizing to take over the top spot from Dangote.

Let's see how Dangote and Lafarge will respond to this.
You dey mind them .. they just wanted to complain

They are not thieves.
When u celebrate Davido for spending millions on a car for his gf, u called it his money and his choice.
When u celebrate wizkid for buying a wrist watch worth hundreds of millions of dollars, it's his money.
U all celebrate different people in this country who spend their money on things that don't help the society.
This people decides to use their own to start businesses and u call them thieves.
They are not thieves, it's their business.
My brother these are the people we have today in the country they hate people who do a lot for these economy... but celebrate people who flaunt wealth to their face.... tell them to start their own they spend a year before closing down with useless excuses... they thought business is easy anywhere .. blackberry sef close

The average yoruba and lgb0 prefer spending their money on houses, clothes and shoes and come online to talk about how their shoes will feed the generation of the person replying them.
These ones are dedicated to their businesses and grew them over decades and somehow u come and pretend like they denied southerners the chance to do that.
Southerners like every northerner has the chance to start and run a business in the country like northerners.
Do it and stop bIackmaiIing others.

Without these people they call thieves, we will be importing cement at astronomical prices today.
Entrepreneurship contribute more to our society than flaunting wealth.
But we celebrate those who flaunt it more than entrepreneurs.

You obviously are unable to make yourself heard on a public forum without putting your poor parental upbringing on display. This is obviously not Tinubu's fault, even if he probably also lacked proper upbringing himself.

BUA Group has decided to being down the price of Cement effective October 2, 2023.

According to a statement from the Cement manufacturer, the organization decided to bring the price reduction forward rather than waiting till when its new production lines were completed as it had earlier promised.

Based on the latest development, the ex-factory price has now been fixed at 3,500 NAIRA per bag, 'so that Nigerians can begin to enjoy the benefits of the price reduction even before the completion of the new plants'.

The statement further revealed that upon completion of the new plants which will increase BUA production volume to 17million Metric tons per annum, the company intends to further review downwards the price of cement by first Quarter of 2024 in line with earlier promise.

This one will never work. You go to the factory, you buy 3,500 then come out and sell for 7k and then tell us transportation and other expenses included. Abi everybody that needs cement go go buy am directly from the company/factory?

I don't want to call you an illiterate but it baffles me when any Nigerian cannot simply distinguish between ethnic groups and states where each group predominantly belong to. It is quite shameful mixing tribes and states up. Apart from your simple lack of knowledge on regards to states and tribes, I doubt if you have moved around the country before because simple exposure would have stopped you from calling every one from the south Igbo or Yoruba. For your information the CEO of UBA, Tony Elumelu and that of Zenith bank, Jim Ovia are both from Delta state which is located in south south. That is not an Igbo state with due respect sir. Pls stop making these errors.

The biggest companies Dangote group,BUA, Zenith, UBA and most of the banks and big industries employing millions of people in Nigeria are owned by Northerners, South South indigenes and yorubas. These are the richest people and tribe in Nigeria. We know Delta people, they are different from igbos. Small businesses are run by people of all tribes, not just one tribe, small businesses is not by selling spare parts alone, processing, services etc...
