How Supposedly Educated Yoruba People Would React To Tinubu's Exposure by Hedonisco: 6:12pm On Oct 01, 2023 |
When the inglorious identity thief and forger is exposed, the likes of Professor Wole Soyinka and other very disgusting Yoruba pseudo intellectuals, high and low, would resort to defensive rhetoric and whataboutism. They would ask, and so what? Na who holy pass? Does it matter if someone out of juvenile enthusiasm committed some petty forgery 40 years ago? Is he the first? Why do you hate him so much? Is it because he is a Yoruba man? Etc. Etc. Etc. My God I have cut off these people forever. They're no good. I am so broken by what this cycle has revealed. Bunch of primitive, highly hypocritical, double-mouthed, double-faced, ethnocentric idiots masquerading as 'sophisticated' and enlightened people. 20 Likes 4 Shares |

Education has absolute nothing to do with natural wisdom. The utterances of Wole Soyinka displayed such gaps. Highly educated but in natural wisdom?. As for me, I will never devote my time to cram all the dictionary, just to conjure grammar. Then I will start to speak the big unrefined grammar which 90% of the audience most times will not understand. Fools will be clapping for him for destroying effective communication that should have been in simple english for every audience comprehension. He can't speak more than the British. Though he can't learn how to use left hand at 80years, he can still recoil/reset his lost natural wisdom. It's not yet late 18 Likes 3 Shares |

Hedonisco:All these words because they stood behind their son just the way you're standing behind obi? In Nigeria Yorubas and igbos are the biggest tribalist, when you call them out, they try to gaslight you. Before the whole CSU saga, the igbos already had a deep seated hatred for Tinubu so stop hiding behind that revelation to express your hatred for Tinubu. If I was Yoruba and I read comments like yours on the internet about a man that has never governed any of the 5 eastern state, my resolve to support him will be strengthened, you support your own equally corrupt brother masquerading as a saint but you don't want the other people to support their person? Who are you? You are a small rat and inconsequential in the scheme of things, you can commit suicide if obi's lose in the polls is triggering PTSD, you won't be missed and life will go on. 13 Likes 1 Share |

BoldBrainz:shut up, you and the other idiots want to coerce everybody into supporting your god peter obi, if he had won, I'm very sure he'd have ran a propaganda government, just the way Otti is running a propaganda government, imagine fooools are cheering Otti up for flagging off a 3.5km road while here in Rivers we have flagged off approximately 75.1km road since the new governor came on board and we'll be commissioning over 100km of completed roads next year. I won't be surprised in the next 3 years, mediocre Otti will be elevated to god like status just like peter obi and anybody that speaks against him will be tagged a tribalist, meanwhile when you do an objective comparison with his colleagues you'd discover that he has done nothing but because he's Igbo, he's going to promoted as the next best thing since slice bread. To you guys everybody is parochial but people from your part of the country are holy and saint like and this is coming from a place where the inhabitants of their states are 98% homogeneous. Do you expect people that think objectively to fall for your bullshiits? I only pity foools that have outsourced their thinking to bumbling idiiots like you and the OP of this thread. 5 Likes 1 Share |

So anyone that doesn't support Obi automatically becomes an enemy? If you guys want other regions to support your candidate, such candidate must be a detribalised someone with a good track record. Not a packaged fraudster, a known cultist and a bigot. Obi was a governor of anambra state for 8 yrs, what was his achievements? 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Igbos have generally regarded Obasanjo as one of Nigeria's best president. Yorubas don't think he is. Igbos regard Yar'adu as the very best Nigerian president, Yorubas have mixed feelings about that. Igbos regard GEJ as a great man who deserves a chance. Yorubas labelled him 'ineffectual baboon'. Meanwhile none of these men are igbos. Igbos reject Buhari who is from the same state as yar'adua, yorubas label igbos evil people and enemies of Nigeria. Igbos reject Tinubu who is from the same tribe as Obasanjo, yorubas label igbos enemies of yorubas. At the end of the day, we all will be judged by a supreme being who see our hearts and counts our words 6 Likes 3 Shares |

And what if the reverse is the case, what I'll the opposition say? Will they move to the 25% Abuja vote or another discredit? But if it's true he forged, some of us will be disappointed. 2 Likes 1 Share |

vanitybutiwanti: What a great post, another one that should be pinned or given Star status. We genuinely need more posts from non Yoruba and non Igbo posters on Nairaland telling those two tribes exactly as it is. The only thing I will say is that this Nairaland hullabaloo is an Obidient vs Batists issue, there are Igbo's and Yorùbá's that don't fall into those camps though they don't say much. |
