The requirement is school certificate or it’s equivalent.

“Or it’s equivalent” is defined in the constitution as work experience.



Furthermore the requirement is a “minimum”. Which means if you have a higher qualification you are not required to render the lower qualification. You are required to tender any qualification that satisfies the minimum requirement. if you like submit ssce/wasc, if you like OND,HND, Bachelors, masters, doctorate. Any of them alone is enough. If you like submit all. The requirement is minimum primary school or it’s equivalent.

A simple google search will show you the section of the constitution which stipulates that Supreme can admit new evidence and the procedure; that is if you are truly interested in that information. If Tinubu's certificate is proven to to be forged, then it becomes a, "direct case". In that case, Supreme court will have no choice than to sack him. It is that simple.

The case is about forgeing certificate. Tinubu claims to have a certificate which he doesn't. By filling the certificate in his INEC form,if found that it was forged,the court will declare his candidacy null and void. That's what Atiku is trying to prove. That Tinubu cliams to be what he is not and that's Forgery
