with or without subsidy removal, salaries will be increased next year. NLC is fighting for 100% increase in salaries for government workers, what about people with no job and Nigerians in the private sector?

NLC fights for the right of organised labour I.e anybody who is employed will benefit from whatever outcome of NLC struggles is as far as minimum wage is concerned. TUC is also there to push the agenda of tradesmen and women

If NLC fights for minimum wage to be 50k, 2hat it means is that any employer (be it private or government) who pays below 50k is breaking the law. Simple!

Now back to my question. Why is it so easy for Tinubu to just wake one morning and pronounce subsidy is gone without any visible plan in sight despite knowing the whole subsidy thing has been one thing all citizens benefit from the government? Why is it so easy for him to yank it off without plans and now he has to set up gazillion committees to look into how to ease the hardship of the people ? Did he consult the private sector when he was announcing subsidy is gone ?
