Pure nonsense. 70% is considered first class in UK while it is barely a pass in US. There is no "first class" in US so the cumulative GPA closest to it would be about a 4 which means A average, which means you scored average 91% and above in your classes

It's possible to issue replacement certificates. Even at that, they don't keep copies. It's not a Nigerian University!

The point is that, as clearly stated by CSU, it's of no importance to them. What is of value is his transcript which validates his having passed through the institution. You can have fake certificates easily but it isn't easy to get a fake transcript.

That is the mistake they keep making! Their thinking is skewed to the Nigerian University records system.

The University is telling them that transcript is the main thing. So far the transcript and credits are in the records, it suffices that you went through the institution.

It makes no sense to float the deception that a man who was clearly quite ill, was just putting on a circus show. For who? To what end?

He is an old man - and there are typically serious health issues that come with age - for the majority of adult males. He is not an exception. He was never an eloquent or cerebral man in his youth and his cognitive decline with advancing age has been quite pronounced.
