Itsrm:INEC or not, Tinubu can't defeat the combined forces of Atiku and Obi in 2027 if Obi can maintain his base of supporters by then, just like Jonathan couldn't defeat the alliance of CPC and ACN (majorly) in 2015 even though the same INEC handled the election then. I think Atiku and Obi should focus their attention on 2027 and forget about this year's election results. If they don't work together by 2027, Tinubu will defeat them again. It's not healthy for our democracy to have a party like APC ruling for this long. That party has ruined Nigeria. |

A001: That's a huge if. Who go be oga, who go be vice? I cannot see either of this men choosing to deputise for the other. Atiku would point out that he came 2nd, and Obi will say he has the popular vote.. Unless one of them dies or retires from politics and pushes his followers behind the other, Tinubu is doing 8 years. Although, if Njgeria continues to spiral into hell at the current rate, all bets are off. I don't think we'd even be talking elections at that point - I think that it's somewhat likely that the rule of law breaks down utterly at some point in Nigeria's near future, splintering the central government into unofficial regional factions led by local strongmen. There might even be a civil war in the offing , although I think its more likely to present as a multi-regional cold War, at least in the beginning, until the regional boundaries are entrenched. Either way, I firmly believe the artificial entity called Nigeria is on its deathbed and I cannot imagine the country celebrating its 100th independence day. 1 Like |

nihilistjnr:It's Obi that'll be the vice obviously, though I don't see that happening. But without such an alliance, neither of them will make it to Aso Rock by 2027. And yes, the optics are bad for Nigeria. The country is clearly on its deathbed. Sadly. |

A country formed on a faulty foundation like Nigeria cannot last for long. The current system isn't sustainable on the long run. Sooner or later, the citizens will still have that all-important discussion on the nature of the union they want to have: Do the Yorubas want to exist in the same country as the Igbos, the Hausas, the Ebiras, the Ijaws, and other ethnic groups? We're not one. I say no to forced marriage. If we want to coexist as one, it should be on new terms, not those imposed by the colonial masters. Each ethnic group should be allowed to decide their fate: Do they want to stay or leave? Hopefully, this discussion will be had peacefully and diplomatically in the coming years, not after a civil war. So many things wrong with the country, including that Constitution. 1 Like |

A001:Alignment or no Alignment, as long as Tinubu is alive, he will do 8 years. You think core younger politicians and stakeholders in the north will support Atiku when they have 4 more years for power to return to their region? Another thing, who controls the electoral commission and the security in Nigeria? I predict that in 2027 the voter turn out will be low. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 9:07am On Oct 03, 2023 |
vanitybutiwanti:With the way Tinubu started his government, you think he'll still enjoy the support he currently has from many Nigerians by 2027? I don't think so. In less than one year into his tenure, everywhere don red. Things went from bad to worse. After four years nko, how bad will things be? Or you think the prices of fuel and other essential items will just fall miraculously by then? Lols, na here we go dey sha |

GloriousGbola:I don't get your confidence because the documents released are not different from the ones issued to Enahoro-Ebah which Atiku wanted to confirm. Nobody is arguing that Tinubu did not attend CSU. That argument cannot be substantiated. The argument is that the certificate he submitted to INEC is fake. That was why Enahoro-Ebah went to court and that was why Atiku took the matter to the tribunal. The documents released has also confirmed this. So why your celebrations? Afrodoc2 is seems that your prescription works for Gloriousgbola too 7 Likes |

A001:Tribalism has been the root cause of all the problems we have in this country. We cannot move forward like this. The first step is to admit that we are not one. The second is to form a nation based on those differences. That's the only way forward. I don't see how people will support a issue based on immorality just because the perpetrator is from their tribe. Too sad. |

BREAKING NEWS The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics to Pierre Agostini, Ferenc Krausz and Anne L’Huillier “for experimental methods that generate attosecond pulses of light for the study of electron dynamics in matter.” The 2023 Nobel Prize laureates in physics are being recognised for their experiments, which have given humanity new tools for exploring the world of electrons inside atoms and molecules. Pierre Agostini, Ferenc Krausz and Anne L’Huillier have demonstrated a way to create extremely short pulses of light that can be used to measure the rapid processes in which electrons move or change energy. The laureates’ contributions have enabled the investigation of processes that are so rapid they were previously impossible to follow. There are potential applications in many different areas. In electronics, for example, it is important to understand and control how electrons behave in a material. Attosecond pulses can also be used to identify different molecules, such as in medical diagnostics. Source: https://www.facebook.com/100064555159421/posts/695415289286970/?mibextid=Nif5oz

What Tinubu submitted to INEC is not different from what CSU released and your conclusion is that it is fake? As in both Tinubu and CSU submitted fake. Abeg who now has the original? Na you? |
