Shhh. Please don't loud it. Let the japa crew continue to deceive themselves and ignore sane counsel to them. They will be alright las las.

The japa crew should have asked why no single diasporan Nigerian has ever made the Forbes list in decades.

Using Forbes and Bloomberg, no black billionaire in all of Europe. Adebayo Ogunlesi could have been one, but he is not a dollar billionaire. Meanwhile, there are substantial British-Indians and British-Pakistanis who are dollar billionaires. If a black billionaire is to emerge from Europe, the UK is the most likeliest of places. I don't see France or Italy producing such. I for Impossicant.

BTW, which kind entrepreneurship una wey dey UK dey do sef? E get why I talk say Nigerians are not entrepreneurial. Close to or more than 300K British-Nigerians in the UK, no billionaire. God bless the US sha. If capitalism didn't dey, e didn't dey.

Being a billionaire is not a sign of success in society.

The majority of Black Nigerian Britons are middle class, they own their property (Value £200 -500k) the will have an annual income of £50k and they are educated.

Abroad is a serious leveller where both the rich and poor have the same access to amenities and infrastructure.

Unlike Nigeria, where they can Lord their wealth on the huge population stricken by poverty and get away with anything.

Always looking for what to justify evil in ur country??
U sound like one of our politicians...

How does the population of UAE change the fact that Nigeria is a very good low sulphur content oil producer that mismanage and steal her revenue

My brother, one of the end products of modern day democracy, is the liberty it gives you to exercise and enjoy your "freewill".

Freewill is very regulated and streamlined in those societies you're talking about. You live like an animal that's caged but just given enough room to walk around and stretch.

In Nigeria, even if you're very law-abiding and a modest earner, you'll live like the country belongs to you. No restrictions, very few regulations and the people around you are warm and welcoming.

Check all Elon Musk's pictures and tweets. Read his tweets carefully to know whether that dude gives a fvck about black people. In case you don't know, dude does not give a damn about black people. He has never identified with South Africa as a country, but he does identify with the white community there. In business circles, he is seen as an American first and Canadian second before South African. Also, white people who have citizenship in certain African countries maintain strong ties with their ancestral homelands. The White Namibians with Germany and White South Africans/Zimbabweans with England/Netherlands.

Your analogy is akin to saying because Egypt is in Africa geographically, then Egyptians are considered as black people. Nothing concern those people concern us. Elon Musk is only South African in the name. The term "Africa" means black people, black man's homeland.

Most Sub-saharan Africans don't just get the gist: motherfuckers trying to identify with folks who don't give a damn about their existence.

I never see such people. Tueh!

Their presence in the country is obviously the source of their wealth.

Dangote, Otedola and many oil CEOs can’t handle their affairs from outside the country. Their Nigerian managers will run down their businesses. Glo would have long closed shop if Adenuga decided to run things from the USA. Ordinary supermarkets, the cashiers and attenders always steal, talk less of a company run by a CEO without a physical presence.
But that doesn't mean that if they all left you will automatically become wealthy. Their presence in Nigeria doesn't hinder you from being successful.

Reasons:

1. Nigeria is a great country but laws remain very weak, especially for the wealthy folks; with money you can do just about everything.

2. As a wealthy individual living in Nigeria, you will constantly be blessed with respect and accolades, even when they are not necessary. Your ego remains stronger and healthier.

3. As a wealthy individual living in Nigeria, sky is the limit; you have unlimited access to just about anything and everything

4. Your wealth is not as questionable as it is in other countries. you will be protected by politicians and other powerful friends…Furthermore, paying taxes is also not as serious as it is in other countries.

5. As a wealthy individual living in Nigeria, there is 75% chances that you will get away with murder without experiencing a single scratch.

6. Your wife/ wives and all family members are protected 24/7

To conclude, life of wealthy Nigerians living in Nigeria may not be healthy (mentally and physically), but it is definitely sweeter than candy.

Why would u want to go to where tax is crazily high for the rich when u can be in nigeria, pay less, and flex on the poor...
If they go abroad without relocating their assets they won’t be required to pay huge tax. So this is definitely not the reason they prefer to live here in Nigeria. When you are rich and don’t have to depend on foreign businesses to live a fulfilled life, you would prefer to live here in Nigeria. Nigeria is fun.
The job I do is related to working with the rich, and one common thing about them all is that they prefer to live here in Nigeria.

For owanbe parties, you can decide to shut down a whole road or street

Lawlessness ( The laws are for the poor)

You are like a demi-god here unlike in Developed countries nobody see una!

Lol. Absurd reasoning and hate on rich folks. The kind of hate that stems on envy.

Poor people are the worst set of people to live or relate with. No wonder the rich in Nigeria live in gated, well guarded estates that is out of bounds to people who don't belong there.

In your mind now, every rich person in Nigeria has questionable wealth.

Lol at the "Abroad is a leveler of wealth". What sort of levelling is between people who live in shared flats in London Zone 5, running to catch the tube every day and those who live in private luxury estates in London Zone 1 with a rolls Royce, chaffeur, 24 hour nannies for their children, paying almost 50k in tuition per child at Elton College.

The audacity to compare rich people to our folks in the abroad who move around with bushy hairs because they can't afford to pay £15 pounds weekly for a haircut.
grin grin cheesy You just spoke my mind.

They think everyone is equal abroad. cheesy grin

In abroad you can't have line in house help, you can't have a gate man. You can't have a washer man, all these domestic staff are not easy come by. But in Nigeria you csn have as much as you want and still maltreat them.

Mind you some people can't do without house help.
All the rich men in the attached photo can afford as much house help abroad as they chose.
This is definitely not the reason they prefer to live in Nigeria. Nigeria is fun when you’re rich

They are wealthy because the government decided to empower them with the nations wealth at the expense of the citizens. In Nigeria you can fraudlent wealth and no one will question you. All their source of wealth has nothing to do with special innovation. Otedola wealth is as a result of refinery not functioning for years. Dangote wealth is from the time of Obasanjo that gave him a monopolistic market for 200 million ppl. Folunrunsho the lady got wealth as a gift from IBB. This set of ppl are holding Nigeria as a country hostage but unfortunately they are the ppl we celebrate every day.
