Bless you, you couldn’t have said it better. For a country that always borrows, cost of servicing the so called governance cabinet is so bogus. A true leader with thoughts of the country at heart will reduce the cabinet, trim it to a very feasible and frugal state. But no…it’s a feeding feast as usual.

I am for less government too but I think the idea of decentralising is so that we can see the development of the various departments.
For example we don't want the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy hiding under the Ministry of Transport and we won't get to see the development. Now there is no excuse and each minister should be held accountable. When these are developed then the ministries can be reduce.

It's not easy picking a candidate in a state and then people from the same state opposing it. Buhari did not even bother, he replaced them with a notherner straight.

This is very wrong. Governance should not be about "compensating" friends. The FG can not be asking the people to make sacrifices only to go about embarking on "reckless" spending. The country is broke. We can't be borrowing to finance recurrent expenditures. This was the same mistake that former President Buhari made.
