You don't need to be physical present to do that.
just contact the registrar of the companies you own their shares, get the form from them , fill and submit.
Some registrars have it online on their website

The case in court was initiated by some people who have specific names and addresses; that case must be withdrawn by the same people. It does not matter if there are other minority shareholders like you and I.

What I mean is the faith of all of OANDO shareholders will not be determine by the 14 minority shareholders that took the case to court. There must be an AGM for every shareholder to vote if he or she would accept the proposal and the buyout price. As it is now, even the 14 minority shareholders that went to court would not accept 7.07 as buyout price. Hope u get my point?

What happens when you are in a stock but you refuse to sell and the stock gets delisted or the company folds up? In such a scenario can it still be said that you have not lost because you have not sold?

Insurance companies are like banks in the sense they have relatively large OS hence the scarcity to drive their prices up in response to even good results is not there. The only few insurance companies which rally substantially have relatively low OS.

Since the company has delisted, the shares are no more available for trade. In essence it's no longer a stock. Your value is kept for you as per the terms and agreement and conditions to delist the company.

When they say you have not gained or lost money untill you sell only apply to stocks. Reason we say your current value is paper money until you sell.
Once delisted, it's no more a stock that is trade able.

Please, if I have some shares on NASD, how can I trade on them?

They are not reflecting on my shares portfolio of NGX.

Are there special platforms to trade on them, or do they have special stock brokers?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Kebson(m): 8:53am On Oct 05, 2023
A very likely scenario, but quite unlikely when you trade/invest in fundamental tier 1 companies i.e. MTN, Dangote, the big banks etc.

Distance yourself from those penny/kobo stocks.. DYR.

Please, I really need a step by step guide on how to go about this

Here are the steps to open a NASD account in Nigeria:

1. Visit the NASD website at https://nasdng.com.
2. Click on the "Join NASD" button on the homepage.
3. Select the type of account you want to open, such as NASD Private Market, NASDeP, or NASD Crowdfunding.
4. Fill out the registration form with your personal information, including your name, email address, phone number, and address.
5. Upload the required documents, such as a valid ID card, passport photograph, and utility bill.
6. Submit the registration form and wait for approval.
7. Once your account is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your login details.
8. Fund your account and start trading on the NASD OTC Market.

Note that you also need to open a CSCS account for transactions on NASD OTC Market. The process of opening a CSCS account is separate from opening a NASD account. You can contact your bank or a stockbroker to help you open a CSCS account.

You have to trade them through your broker.
Send an email to your broker to open an NASD account for you and migrate your NASD share to them.

NASD is not automated, you have to send emails every time you want to trade(Buy and Sell).

Note:- Not all broker trade on NASD.
